Clear lack of effort in his justification attempt too. We all know what we saw. You got toasted on a few routes, Jackrabbit, that happens to everyone. Bad game. You also completely ignored contact on several tackle opportunities. Lack of effort. Don't take your fans for idiots, asshole.
on defense and try to get the ball carrier, that is effort. He did not put forth 100%
Also, it is important to note that the niners had a horrific offense. They steamrolled the Giants on the ground and got cut to ribbons through the air by a rookie third round QB. I think lack of effort played a role.
Well, he has a game on Sunday and chance to prove it!
Not just this Sunday but the rest of the season to prove it. If he is on his game the rest of the way I am willing to give him a pass but only because he has been the best corner we have had in a while.
maybe he was just covering, but I can buy the explanation a bit. He made a bad play - was trying to strip the ball on the TE instead of tackling him. These things can happen. I think he's right that his technique was poor but that his effort wasn't bad. That's not really who he's been and I don't think that's what happened on Sunday.

.
He also went ole on a tackle of Carlos Hyde, as Hyde was
breaking into the second level. Jenkins had come up on the
play, just didn't want to deal with tackling him.
Both things happened in the first half, at this point,
Spags would prefer to not call him out. The HC had already
suspended the guy a couple weeks ago...

They explained that too - he didn't get his feet under him correctly and then tried to arm tackle - is that technique or effort? Depend on who you ask I guess.
I'm a fan of Jackrabbit and I'm taking his explanation.
All around. That was the most disgusting game I've ever seen. I watched thru the dark 70's & those guys never mailed it in. Rock bottom. Mara better just clean fking house top to bottom. Also gonna be pissed if they don't give Webb pt the rest of the way
...well then I guess they have had a whole lot of bad games in the last few years. Yet we see teams like the Steelers and Patriots and Green Bay (the list goes on)...who are there every year in the hunt no matter how many people they trade or lose to injury.
On that play he just made a half assed try to tackle the big man by the shoulders then just gave up.
Dogshit
Pick any one... he's full of it.
I know, I thought that was pretty funny. So you want us to go by what you say, not what we saw you do... Got it!
we love to make judgements about people from afar and speak with authority about things we know nothing about. He had a bad game.
The effort was poor, only he knows what was really going on.

They think we are stupid ... everybody knows what is going on. It is certainly a lot more than what they are admitting to.
A bad game ... what about the rest of the season? Just a series of bad games I guess ...
