I started playing guitar as a kid. My tastes changed by my late teens, so I haven't listened to them since the mid-1980s. Really sad news. It makes me feel pretty old too.
They announced that he was sick a while back ... Alzheimer's? .... and that was the reason why he did not go on their last tour. Another riff meister/master equal (but, much harder style) than a Keith Richard.

Me too. I still listen to Powerage and LTBR a couple times a week.
Powerage was Malcs favorite.
