2005 was my ultimate peak for being a football fan. The signing of Burress, being a young gun adult ready to take on the world. That didn't go so well but that was a fun team to watch, and I couldn't wait for the next game... until that Carolina playoff game.
I had said this in other thread but I actually missed going to that game for some dumb ass final exam for college on a Saturday afternoon. I took the exam in a Tiki Barber jersey and barely made it home from to see the kickoff. I forget what it was on but I know I got a B-.
I remember asshole non-Giant fan friends of mine saying that the Giants had no shot to win and KC would win by 30...
they might have a case for that prediction in 2017
Who the hell cares about 2009? What were you trash talking football on your Blackberry? Keep it in the flip phone era, dude. Or start your own thread about 2009.
Was watching from the 300s in the old Giants Stadium. Was awesome watching Tiki cut through the D from that view
I was as well...the view was awesome
I was upper tier behind ez too. Watching tiki and that offense was so awesome. Tiki was insanely patient every day, especially that day. Pleasure to watch the plays develop. OL and Tiki were masterful.
Both teams going in were battling for playoff positioning. We were banged up. Had to win that game.
Didn't toomer have a great tackle breaking Td late in that game?
I remember late in the game it started snowing. Perfect.

Yeah but I think it was early in the game. His ankle looked like it almost twisted IIRC and he broke free in the middle of the field to bring it in for 6
Coughlin had to challenge that one no? Not blaming the officials at all because it WASNT clear as day his shin never hit the turf. Nobody could see that with the naked eye. I was amazed it didn't hit the turf. Great awareness by Toomer.
I think that game is on YouTube and I came across it recently but it is not the best footage. Awful footage actually. Also I think it's one of those games where there is only part 1 and every single, is asking for part 2...
One of the most dominating singular peformances I've ever seen. The crowd chanted Tiki's name that day louder than any player chant I can remember hearing in the new or old stadium. I was in the 300s behind the end zone where the views were good every time. The cheapest, most underrated seats in the stadium. Basically the all 22 view. Gives you a far better view into what is going on compared to somewhere like the first row and it's not close.
