I finally made the purchase on a PS4 (slim 1TB version). Got it on Amazon Prime for $199, so it was a no brainer.
My question is this- I know you can buy games digitally now. Is there an advantage either way buying the game via the Playstation store versus buying the physical copy? Which do you prefer?
Also, I don't know exactly how it works with discs but a lot of games have significant updates. They'll automatically update if you have it saved on the console. Not sure if updates down automatically for discs.
I've been downloading lately, it's never worth it to trade them in anyway
There are slightly better deals at Kohls ($60 kohl's cash), Gamestop ($50 gift card) later this week. Not clear if they will be online, though
Is this really true anymore? I know it once was.
But PSN regularly runs sales, even Humble is regularly hosting PlayStation packages, you buy can PS4 games from CDKeys and so forth.
Anyway, I'm all digital. The advantage of physical is trade-ins, but that hassle has become less worthwhile the older I've gotten.
