We have another year to evaluate him for better or for worse. If we end up picking as high as we expect, we aren’t taking an OL first anyway. It might allow us to focus on improving the interior of the OL next year. If he is available in the second you could select someone like Mason Cole from Michigan who has played LT and C as insurance. Hard to say definitively how everything will probably play out because there are too many unknowns right now.

We just saw a team switch to Nathan Peterman. I'd take anonymous scout and exec quotes with a grain of salt

I am not against him.. Its just that he has looked good since our season was down the drain.. It wasn't just Detroit.. In Philly the next week he sucked ass really bad at run blocking and cost us the game.. yes its good he has performed well since then.. but I won't commit to him until I see him do it when games matter.. If he fucks up the first few games next season then its time to dump him..
In the meantime as a giants fan.. I hope he does really well.. but he is on his last chance.. and doing good today doesn't mean we should risk our next season on him continuing this.. there should be a backup plan..
