Down 10-6 instead of 10-9 with the ball on the 3 yard line and no timeouts left, the Chiefs would have been forced to go for a touchdown. And everyone of us would have expected them to make it, probably a catch in the end zone by the tight end.

It's all a part of Mac's sinister plan.

Eli has been quoted as saying he'd rather be down 4 with two minutes left and needing the TD than down 3 and only needing a FG to tie. Makes sense.
