Anyone else willing to admit

they've always been fascinated by the whole Mason story? Hard to imagine a mind working that way ... or how the minds of those who followed him work(ed).

The whole cult thing ... interesting human behavior. He took it to insane levels.

He should have been put to death long, long ago. Him living 83 years kinda bothers me. I'll also admit, I wish he could have suffered beyond what he likely did.

Every time I see some waste of life like Manson living to a ripe old age, I think of the wonderful people I've known who were here much less time and it pisses me off like you wouldn't believe.

Yup, not just the Manson Family who followed him and committed atrocities...but the weirdos who continued their obsession with him after his arrest, conviction and incarceration.

No doubt the whole saga is fascinating from a macabre point of view, and I can somewhat grasp the concept of very young, impressionable kids being lured by a charismatic wacko. But the way some people end up worshipping some of these guys long after their madness and evil has been laid bare is bizarre. A case study into the weird depths of the human psyche.

As for Manson and those who committed the murders, it’s just a shame they all didn’t get the chair before California abolished the death penalty. The details of the torture and mutilation of the bodies are appalling.

Rot in hell Charles.

The Sities had Flower Power ....
short lease : 11/20/2017 9:31 pm : link
and then it had Manson.

Now they are both dead. It would not have been the Sixties without both.

Weird times back then ....
