wasn't on the game thread and did a quick search but didn't see this discussed anywhere else, but did anyone catch Snacks play prior to catching the ball on his INT? There was a reason that he was open and ready to intercept the pass.
Snacks - one hand on the shoulder of the OL literally tosses him to the ground. Made it look effortless. The OL goes right down and Snacks is standing there ready to make a play.

I have to disagree about JPP and Vernon. Vernon played the entire second half with one arm (not sure exactly what the injury was, but he was clearly limited and gutted it out) and JPP hustles.
My knock on JPP is that he hasn't developed into a polished pass rusher. His repertoire lacks variation and combination, he's very much still the brute-force, bull rusher of his early career, with slightly degraded athleticism countered by greater (experience-based) football IQ.
I don't necessarily attribute JPP's lack of productivity to a bad attitude. I think he's somewhat overvalued.
The funny thing was, Alex Smith made a helluva play. He somehow tackled Snacks in the open field with a convoy of blockers. Not many QBs would take on a NT like that. Screwed us out of seeing Snacks rumble for a 70 yard TD.
Are you kidding?? JPP made the play ..the INT doesn't even happen if not for JPP give Snacks all the love and he deserves it but let's not tear someone else down incorrectly to make your point.
