I want to take my wife to see U2 at the Verizon Center, I mean the Capital One Centre, in DC in 2018 but the cheapest tickets (for decent seats) are over $350 a piece. Is there a way to score better prices for non-nosebleed seats? That said, anyone been to a concert there? Are the cheap seats worth it?
Thanks
Dan those were the stubhub prices. All the cheaper tickets were behind the stage.

For 6/18/2018 I see floor (General admission) for 262 and upper box for as low as 115

Click on "Concert" and you can see photos taken from certain areas of the arena for concerts to give you a general idea

For concerts, the sound isn't very good as it bounces around a lot.
So it depends how much sound and more of the experience is to you and at what price. If you can swing it, go 100 or at worst 200 level.
May want to check out U2.com (band’s host site) or @u2.com for ticket ideas...
Their 360 show had $30 seats behind the stage which is as low as any stadium gig I've seen by a big band.
Last concert I saw there was Maroon 5 in 2015 and I sat in the upper section. The sound was distorted a bit in solo spots but that gets drowned out when the whole band started playing. My recommendation, if under $200, value is decent. Although I wouldn't pay more than $200+ on those tickets, quality is not there.
I wish U2 was playing at Nats Park, as they have a better sound system for outdoor concerts.
Use the difference in price on a hotel and enjoy the experience of a U2 concert in a better venue.
Good Luck!
U2 arrange the stage, and use their video technology, to try and make every seat a worthwhile experience. They had an extended and elevated walk-way for the 360 tour that was very unique. And they choreograph some great video ideas with their concert production guru Willie Williams. They just don’t charge high prices, play on a conventional stage, and play greatest hits. Instead, they pour a ton of money into their live experience and try to give their fans something different, even those who can’t afford the premium seats...
