And just like that
Canton : 11/22/2017 9:38 pm : link
We give it all back. We have to develop that killer instinct at the end of games, and not let teams to make a run right back on us.

Nice look from Kanter.

Great play by Kanter

It would be nice if they would stop letting

defenders literally hug and mug KP. It’s ridiculous. And not hard to call.
Lover the chemistry KP and Kanter are starting to develop

In just under 20 games.
Lee with a rookie mistake.

38 points, a career high for THJr

He looks like prime DWade tonight
Hardaway!!
bceagle05 : 11/22/2017 9:50 pm : link
38/7/6 tonight. I like that he plays angry, too.
Hardaway has been worth every penny of that contract so far
Canton : 11/22/2017 9:51 pm : link
Great game
Sensational win for the Knicks

What a 3rd quarter
True canton
idiotsavant : 11/22/2017 9:54 pm : link
Great game. Watching them grow together.

wow - that was some 3rd quarter
Del Shofner : 11/22/2017 9:55 pm : link
and second half for that matter. Quite the game.
38-7-7 for THJr - numbers not seen since
Del Shofner : 11/22/2017 9:56 pm : link
Ewing in 1991, apparently.

Yup, he put the game away after the Raptors made their run.

Interesting to see Jack get most of the 4th Q tonight, Frank had been getting the call down the stretch of close games more often. Jack doesn’t offer much on offense but veteran presence, but tonight that’s all we needed
Celtics finally lose, in Miami.

MIlls was getting reamed by most for the THjr signing...
Canton : 11/22/2017 10:02 pm : link
But he obviously saw his great play with Atlanta (at the end of last season) what he envisioned when he drafted him, so he stole him back.

+1 for Mills

Finally!

This is a crazy night in the Association. Knicks with a 28-0 run and 41-10 quarter, Celtics come back to earth for a night, Warriors getting blown out by OKC, Spurs getting blown out, #TheProcess keeps on working in Philly
The Atlantic all of a sudden is a great division
dpinzow : 11/22/2017 10:05 pm : link
Every team in the Atlantic is 10-7 or better except the Nets
Best win of the year?
Vanzetti : 11/22/2017 10:17 pm : link
Could be. Knicks showing they are legit with a big win over a team that just blew them out
good post-game with Hornacek -
Del Shofner : 11/22/2017 10:21 pm : link
this guy has a finger on the pulse of his team, and is happy enough with the cards he's been dealt as a coach. Nice for a change.
Hardaway having a good November after a slow start.
Ira : 11/22/2017 10:22 pm : link
I like that he takes the ball to the hoop more than when he played here before he was traded.
Hardaway deserves a lot of credit.
bceagle05 : 11/22/2017 10:33 pm : link
It's almost like the Knicks sent him to boarding school in Atlanta for a few years and now he's all grown up. I'm not ready to declare him a star or anything, but he's got talent and a work ethic that should sustain him.

Definitely the best win. I went in pretty concerned tonight and when the raptors jumped out to the double digit lead I figured they were just the better team. Not only was this just a great team win we saw the Knicks backcourt outplay an all star backcourt with Toronto-- mainly hardaway but lee, frank and jack had their moments too.

So much fun watching the Knicks. With the Giants being the Giants the Knicks have restored my faith in the universe. Just keep it up.
I know I shouldn't feel like this
Jan in DC : 11/22/2017 10:39 pm : link
But everything this season for the Knicks is gravy. I had no expectations other than a nice draft pick, which might be flying out the window. But with Kanter and Hardaway being way better than I thought, to KP taking the "quantum leap" as Clyde would say, I just watch every game and am happy to see a competitive basketball team. I don't get angry when they lose, I'm just happy they're playing nice basketball.
Watching the Knicks and Raptors earlier
dpinzow : 11/22/2017 10:48 pm : link
and watching Lakers/Kings now. The first game was a legit NBA tilt. This Kings/Lakers game looks like a D-League game
I still think some reality will set in
mfsd : 11/22/2017 10:49 pm : link
with a tough Dec/Jan schedule for the Knicks - 11 home/20 road games over those 2 months. But at this point, who cares, this team is a lot of fun to watch while several younger guys are still learning to play

You're likely right, but this team has surprised us quite often already, so I wouldn't be shocked if they continued to improve going forward, and won more than we'd expect during that stretch. Either way, hopefully they will grow as a team and offer hope for better times ahead.
I'd say that out of the 10 starters in that Lakers/Kings game
dpinzow : 11/22/2017 10:56 pm : link
only Z-Bo and Kuzma would start on any kind of contending team

Zach Randolph is the offensive juggernaut thus far in this one...

And Hardaway applied himself more on defense in the 3rd quarter tonight thank Melo typically did in half a season

According to Rotoworld, the only Knicks with 38/7/7 line in the past 50 years:

- Clyde Frazier
- Bernard King
- Ewing
- Hardaway Jr.
Although to be fair,
shockeyisthebest8056 : 11/22/2017 11:51 pm : link
Melo once had 42/17/6 in a playoff game.
The Knicks have already had me jumping off my couch

shadow boxing the air like John Starks like 5 times this season. Thats probably more than double the past 2 seasons total...All they kept asking Horny and the players afterwards was was that the best quarter of the season? ummmm the season? try the past 2 or 3 decades...

Is a mediocre scrub that will always suck because I’ve already made my mind up and when I make my mind up on someone that is final. Results be damned. I’ve always been that way and you’ll have to deal with it.

Ha, I think tonight's performance might be enough for even Greg to hand out some grudging kudos THJr's way. Talk about Turkey Day miracles!

Happy Thanksgiving, all.
THjr put on his big boy pants last night.
