Depleted OL? Who exactly were they missing? All 5 starters played, right? How are they depleted? He’s got 3 All Pros in front of him. How many does he need?

Lost Martin in the 2nd qtr which had to hurt the run game. Plus Dez isn't Dez anymore.
I'm glad for Rivers. Allen plus Williams make him effective again.

HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS!

Martin was the only one that left the game in the first half due to a head injury.
This is why all the hype about Wentz is a bit much

How many young QBs have we seen have an incredible year and then just fall off a cliff? So much in the league now is year to year.
Wentz is much better than Dak
UConn4523 : 11/23/2017 10:07 pm : link
starting with his arm which makes a world of a difference. He also seems better in the pocket and can make tough throws. Dak is very much a game manager and can’t through downfield with accuracy or velocity.

Wentz in a landslide if I’m starting a team and had to pick one of the two.

Unfortunately Wentz looks like the real deal, a much better passer than Dak!

Jerry Jones' head security man just came out of the locker room, ushering remaining Cowboys players to hurry up, and said, "Jerry wants to meet with y'all."

What an embarrassment Jerruh is.

Wentz's completion percentage is 59.7 in this NFL that is terrible, he is average in ypg, ypa. What is fueling his high passer rating is exactly what fueled daks last year, which is a ton of tds and few INTs. He is playing behind a dominant OL like dak did last year, his deep balls are iffy, not so sure why you would say Wentz has such a great arm. What wentz seems to have is a great head and that is important.
People told me the same things about Dak last year
Greg from LI : 11/23/2017 11:52 pm : link
Hell, even earlier this year. Said the same thing about Nick Foles and Bob Griffin too...

In the current NFL, a QB has to show me something more than one season before I'm buying in. Oh, and the way Wentz plays, he's almost guaranteed to sustain a major injury before too long.

He plays with an arrogance that reminds me a lot of RG3. He's much bigger physically, but nature is undefeated. RG3 learned his lesson, and so did Roethlisberger. Eventually everyone pays the price.
I'm just glad Dallas is going to shit

Worrying about one team (philly) in the east is bad enough. Fuck Dallas. This is a pretty damaging year for them too. Dak taking hits to his shiny start.

Funny how the rb can make so much of a difference?? I thought it was all the OL in Dallas that's what everyone insisted on the last few years. Losing zeke has been huge. Granted the Dallas OL isn't as good but zeke covers up a lot of warts. Fuck them.
The legend that was Dak Prescott has ended! The cowturds

losing made this day a little sweeter!
My Dak theory is this...
bw in dc : 11/24/2017 7:47 am : link
Dak took an inordinate amount of hits in the Atlanta game. It was brutal. It’s been a while since a saw QB take that type of punishment.

His fake LT that day, Chaz Green, should have been jailed for assault. Now everything has unraveled since - his pocket presence looks way off, his footwork looks anxious, he’s stepping into less throws...you name it. In other words, he has a major confidence problem. And he obviously hasn’t found it since Atlanta. So unless the two morons who put him in this position, Garrett and Linehan for not giving enough LT help, the Dallas season is effectively over...

I’m not looking at his passer rating I’m watching how he plays. His completion % will get better, he’s halfway through season 2 and already looks a lot better than last year. His arm is better than Daks and like I said previously his pocket presence is better.

The two QBs are very different so having good OLs isn’t what I’m grading them on. One I’d take to start for my team and the other could be just a guy in a couple years. I’m simply not seeing the growth in Dak that I’ve seen in Wentz and the gap between the two players is obvious.
Well, this is what it is, since

the Giants are done, my only NFL pleasure this year is watching Dallas lose, great stuff.

Who get's inducted to the Hall of Fame first? Romo or Dak? Ha, ha, ha ha ha HA.
Everybody's been focusing on Zeke
MetsAreBack : 11/24/2017 11:25 am : link
But the reality is their run game has still been pretty good the last few games averaging over 4 ypc.

Sean Lee has been the devastating loss. They don't have anyone that can replace him. They couldn't get the chargers off the field yesterday. Chargers ended up running 70 plays to 47 for Dallas.

The other issue besides an exposed defense that can't get off the field and isn't giving their offense many drives .... is that Dez is done. Big fork in his back They need to move on from him IMO. He's still a diva .... that can't get separation and his hands aren't what they used to be either. Me-first receivers better back up their antics with production and he doesn't anymore. They are better off cutting him and Spreading the ball around to no names.

Agree about Sean Lee and I'll also add (what we all know) that LB is area of complete indifference as far as the Giants FO is concerned. You see what a difference Lee makes to the entire defense and you have to wonder why the Giants have been so happy to ignore the position altogether.

Interesting point about the YPC w/o Zeke but the number don't tell the whole story. The Ewok is a threat to score every time he's on the field and that's not something you can say about Morris who's a solid 3 yards and a cloud of dust type of player. That Cowpukes offense runs through the Ewok.
I agree he is a loss
MetsAreBack : 11/24/2017 11:56 am : link
But he's not the reason wins are now turning into 20+ point losses

I'd say Lee, the OL injuries (finally! They'd been the healthiest team in football for years), dez being done and Dak showing a sophomore slump are equally as responsible as Zeke being hurt for the abysmal month of play

Agree completely, it's an all of the above problem. Easy to forget with all the time we spend around here, but football really is a team game. Anyway, if there's a bright spot this season its the failure of the Cowpukes.
