if Apple wanted to be by his mother's side. But it really is no reason to be inactive for 2 games in a row. We have seen this season where a player from San Fran had lost a child at birth and still suited up. In the Vikings game, a player had their first child and still they suited up.

I wish his mother the best with her treatment. And it is nice for her son to be by her side, but at some point, he has a job.

I'm beginning to think that Apple's situation is deeper than just being a good son for his mom.

Apple is being singled out and sitting while other players and coaches who have under performed continue to play and coach. Hard to disagree with that if that is her point.
