This is the worst Giant team I’ve seen in my lifetime. I’m 40 years old and been a fan since I’m about 6.
I go back to the 1970 season. This isn't the worst, but it's the weirdest. I can't ever remember a year where such high expectations were met with such bad performance.
On second thought, this is looking a lot like some of the bad 70s teams. Woeful, pathetic, undermanned offense. Pretty good defense that could keep the team in the game sometimes.
Probably will blame everything else around him for the next 32 starts If he got them. But Eli cannot make plays downfield anymore - the hero throws his staple are gone and he's just not good with mobility and short passing accuracy.
You were also complaining about Jenkins coverage on doctsons td, when Jenkins coverage was what it should have been, the point is I don't believe you understand what you're watching

He got completely turned around by Josh Doctson, who sucks ass. I couldn't give two fucking shit what you think.

Exactly, he had no help, how are you going to play inside or outside? Jenkins played it correctly. It was a perfect throw by cousins
RE: RE: RE: That was a throw into triple coverage Â
eli is the problem, you have NO CLUE. What could he POSSIBLY do with no protection, no running game, no talent at WR, and countless dropped passes?
The OL, and the Coaching is the problem here. Its very simple.
Sure he has lost a lot of talent on offense but these receivers are not new...And to throw 25 times and have just 77 yards passing is beyond putrid...Stop covering for Eli as he has been declining for a few years now even with full staff. You should be able to fall back into at least 100 passing yards and far more if you throw 30 times in a game...Stop it

How do you know what Eli saw before you watch the All 22? Do you think our WRs are getting open downfield? What coverage was the Redskins playing most of the game that prevent downfield throws?

And if Manning throws a meaningless td, you would not count it, but you count that against him
There's no such thing as a meaningless TD this season. They're averaging 16 damn points per game.
You understand what I mean
I don't. I understand YOU think I have some kind of problem with Eli where I wouldn't give him credit if it was due. He's been bad, and there's a segment of the userbase here that takes personal offense when they hear it.

You really didn't understand?
Football isn't an easy sport to dissect
Could squeeze some offense out of this group. But our playcalling and system is a disaster. We are WAY behind the rest of the league, and its NOT the QB's fault.

Thanks to Reese we already are.
Firming up our #3 spot is the upside.
I love Eli. Absolutely love him. Favorite Giant of all time but you’re 100% right. He’s fucking awful. Absolutely shot.

Are you kidding me? You lived through Dave Brown and Kent and Danny really?
This team is worse.

lmao. Boned by the lag time between hitting submit and the live action.
You haven't lived unless you lived thru '64-'80.
Oooooooh. Time for another team meeting. A heart to heart. Tough love. Honesty.
Fuck this team. What a disgrace.
Fire. Everyone.

As if the rest of his game wasn't enough? Clown.

Ben McAdoo made Eli throw a pass behind the knees of a wide open receivers. Now I see it!

That emotionally invested in the team? Go blow off some steam lmao.

They sucked before the Beckham injury, too.

Going to actually address my argument or just resort to what I assume is an ad hominem?

I already did. You didn't respond to multiple posts of mine.
