Draft order

We need some of these terrible teams to win some games and I don’t see a win in that group this week.

Would love to get past SF for the 2nd spot because they will have the golden ticket to leapfrog the Giants with a trade out. Do not want to get out manuevered again. If there are 2 top QB prospects, I want a clean shot at 1 of them without a trade up.

Resting your hopes on the Browns is the definition of insanity

WE have Webb in the stable and the only QB now coming out that is better then Webb in terms of ability to adapt to the NFL is Baker Mayfield who is a combination of Drew Brees with the fire of Philip Rivers. Mayfield will not be selected in the top 5, because many "gurus" foolishly think he is too short or too animated compared to a placid QB like ELI. In any event, we need to build up our weakest link. We need a guard like Nelson of ND to move people off the LOS. Nelson and Fluker at guard can do more for this team than another QB sitting on the bench and waiting for ELi to retire. We also need another tall WR to fill the hole left by Marshall who may be back for his final curtain call ... but do not count on it. Sheppard in the slot look likes another bust. WE need immediate help at Linebacker where this team lacks speed and at free safety. Another tackle ( Flowers has actually become average now).. to play on the right side. And you never have enough pass rushers. We need a a true bell cow RB. This is the debacle created by Reese and if he was not a MINORITY person he would have been fired already.There are other black coaches who can make better GMs than Reese . Mike Tomlin is a brilliant coach of the Steelers who is devoted to power football. Perhaps he would like a front office job... but I think he loves coaching. We should try to hire Nick Saban of Alabama as our GM.. and let him select the best college players and the next head coach. Reese cannot remain as the GM of this team and Mara should not worry about any PR problems connected with FIRING HIM. As far as Mack is concerned ... he is what is record says he is ...there is nothing more to be said about this brain dead coach. He should be fired as soon as the final whistle blows at the end of the last game.

Yes there are many needs, you don't solve a 2-9 team in 1 offseason. But you want to avoid the 14 years of Dave Brown, Danny Kanell, Kent Graham, Mike Cherry, Kerry Collins before Eli. Get the QB first, this is the biggest lever in any football team. CLE traded down from Wentz to accrue picks, great job, wait where are they?

He doesn’t fit what the giants look for in a qb. I like him but I don’t think he has any chance to be our pick

Indy and Chicago scares me.. Think they pick ahead of us along with SF and CLE. We will pick fifth or later thanks to that OT win vs KC. We miss out on Barkley, Darnold, Rosen and the best available OL. Just Great.

Indy IS a worry but unless they think Luck is not toast and/or Brissett is the answer even if he is, they go OL.
