NFT: Derrick Rose considering retirement

Sgrcts : 11/24/2017 2:33 pm
What a crazy end to his career. Last year at this time the argument was were the Knicks gonna keep him at 20 mil a year.
Rose away from team - ( New Window )
Lol

What a shit stain player. Perhaps he should conduct these soul searching sabaticals on his own dollar.

Rose has always been a weirdo player. Always.
only people saying we should keep

Rose were morons like Berman...and certain folks here.
I’ll admit I talked myself into liking the trade at first
mfsd : 11/24/2017 2:58 pm : link
then it quickly became clear why the Bulls were all too happy to dump him on Jax
His career has spiraled downwards

since that April 2012 injury.
Bum

And I don’t call him that based on talent.
I choose to label him a bum based on his selfish attitude and eternal entitlement how he puts himself above the team

Just another reason I am enjoying the 2017 Knicks more and more every game

Knicks this year. Such a steady player. Sometimes that's more important than talent.

As evidenced by several Knicks referring to him as the leader of the team this year. How many ever called Rose that? About none.
This is an ugly fall for a player who won an MVP

strictly on physical ability, and had nothing to fall back on when those gifts were taken away. He doesn't know how to make himself a useful player any other way than trying to play the same way he did before all the surgeries.
the funny thing is that he's still a plus athlete
Pep22 : 11/24/2017 4:31 pm : link
but when the league morphed into a place where greater emphasis on perimeter (3 point) shooting; his value decreased

add to that an unwillingness to defend and lack of an adequate IQ to run a team and you now have a guy who hurts your team
He's a curse

Most entitled player in NBA I can remember. Unwillling to ever put team before himself. And while he was acquitted his rape trial painted a picture of a guy with some serious bad priorities and habits.

Kind of like Melo, no wonder the Knicks loved them
Seriously?

Thought he retired when he came to Knicks!
Is he 65 yet?
Blue Moon : 11/24/2017 9:47 pm : link
Will he receive social security benefits and move to a Dell Webb property?
Maybe he can get someone else

to take his psyche evaluations like he arranged for his exams at Memphis.

Clean bill of health and totally reliable, Mr Johnson!
