Figured I'd get this started. Preview at Posting and Toasting linked below. We really should win this game. If we want to be a playoff team, need to win the easy ones. Link - ( New Window )
For some reason this game has a field to it like someone unexpected is going to step up. No idea why I feel that way, just a gut feeling about this one. Would love it to be frank but probably more likely, Lee, Kanter or Kyle.
Yes they did and that’s great but we can’t overrate or estimate what the talent level is on this team and where they are in their careers.
This teams future is in 3-5 seasons from now. Its fun to watch the glimpses into what that team came be.
7 or 8 seeds now in the playoffs is the road to overestimating talent and overpaying McDermott and/or Kanter or others. closing up your space as it gets available and cutting off your ways to add that piece that you will need to really contend when Porzingas and Frank are truly ready to.
im not saying to root for losses but there’s no need to add undue pressure with the “gotta win this” and “if we want to make the playoffs”
I’ve been enjoying this season as much as any I can remember, the win over the Pacers was about as much fun as I’ve had watching a game since the 90s. But I wasn’t upset over the Cavs loss. They played great but have a lot to learn. It was a great learning experience for them.
If I had to bet that if the Knicks are eventually in an ECF or NBA Finals, the only 2 current Knicks that will be onthat roster are Porzingas and Frank.
Would be nice to see KP have a "beginning of the season KP" game.
Would also be nice if we got a large lead and could see Hernangomez get some burn early on.
Not what I was expecting out of my 2017 New York Knickerbockers. Pleasant surprise.
That sucks, he really has been contributing.
KOQ starts and we get to see if Willy's defense improved.
I guess not

Wow the hawks look awful.
Let's finish this
And a block!
This team has a 22 year old star and a 19 year old rookie PG
This has been fun and exciting precisely because we are watching such young guys grow
But we are years away from seriously contending and need more players.
The best thing for this franchise is still to land back in the lottery and add another young talented player to this mix
The future is not now.
