What you feel in a particular place is dependent on a lot of factors, such as distance from the epicenter, type of fault and direction it runs, and the underlying type of rock.

I've been in jersey for all of these minor quakes over the last 35 years or so and once again today, as usual, I didnt feel shit.

though I'm somewhat amused that, after purchasing our home 6 months ago, we found out our (Florida) insurance broker stuffed 'earthquake insurance' in our policy.. when we found out we changed the policy and fired her.... and now we get an Earthquake.
