Are you rooting for Geno this weekend?

I'm pretty conflicted here. Geno has done nothing during his Giants days which would prevent me from rooting for him. He appears to have been a model teammate this year who has worked very hard.

With that said I also am rooting to see Mac have egg on his face on Sunday after this whole fiasco. If Geno plays great ball then it will almost vindicate him in how he's treated Eli since he's become head coach.

I wish Geno the best because he's worked hard for a second chance; but I want Mac to go down in flames. Not sure I'll have my mind made up on Sunday but I'm conflicted to say the least.

But I am rooting for this system to be exposed by another QB, just to further prove that nobody can succeed in its current state. I want the egg on McAdoo's face, more than wanting Geno to fail.

I want McAdoo gone so bad. And I want him to be wrong.

Geno isn't going to cover up the problems we have. We have a bunch of WRs running 4.6 40's. Our line can't give a QB 3 seconds to find someone and can't create a hole to run though. Joe Montana couldn't cover up these problems.

but I won't root against Geno. This isn't his fault.

but in the abstract, I will be rooting for Geno not to get injured. For his own sake obviously but also because it would be the worst possible thing to happen to Eli and, I believe, the team if Eli had to come in as Geno's back-up. I really wish they made him inactive.

I won�t watch, and I�m actively rooting against the coach, GM, the owners, and the players who have quit on the team. I hope no one gets hurt, but I hope the lose....badly. As for Geno, I have no ill will towards him. Not his fault. But I hope he doesn�t succeed, for the obvious reasons. Nothing good will come from Geno or the team succeeding.

I get rooting for the laundry or rooting for this "great" organization, but right now this organization is a shitshow and the laundry isn't even that great. Next week is the game with the throwback helmets though right? Maybe I'll root for the helmets next week..

and Eli doesn't have to go into the game. It wouldn't break my heart if Smith stinks and McAdoo's "plan" to make him successful blows up. Won't watch Sunday. Not sure going forward but will probably watch Dallas game to see/hear fan reaction.

That means Giants can easily correct the offense with a new QB and compete for a championship in the near future

Unfortunately most of us think the problems on offense run a lot deeper and expect the offense to co tongue to struggle with Geno and Webb

But every intelligent Giants fan hopes that Eli was the problem, even though reason might tell them otherwise. Because if Eli is the problem, then it can be fixed

I don't see how he's going to be successful. As bad as OAK's D is (they have one INT all year - ONE!, and that was last week v. Paxton Lynch. Oof), Khalil Mack will be living in the backfield all day. And we know how well Geno responds to pressure!

This is purely a business decision...

These next five weeks are simply showcase events. Maybe root for players to do well, but not well enough where it leads to points.

Geno should be auditioning for other teams and Webb should be auditioning to keep a spot at Jints Central...

Rid of macdoo and Jerry Reese.

Love to see a W ..but would John Mara really be dull enough to think that beating an awful D in Oakland would prove macadoos system? Let's pray not.

Next season-

If we get new GM. New HC. Assuming Manning to Jags garnering picks.. Build the holy bejesus of the lines. Grab an all world rb,lbs.

Would it bother me to see Geno get a chance in a deal like that? Not really.

To lose. First time ever. But if they win , McAdoo wins. For two seasons McAdoo has been shoving his play calling down our throats. For two year they been barely able to score 30 points. He constantly threw Eli under the bus to me seemed like he believe me it was the QB not his System. screw McAdoo , Screw his system. I hope the team loses just to put the last nail in his coffin. I just hope he isn�t fired until after he season so he can see what the giants fans really think about him.
