it's very likely everyone under him including marc ross, chris mara, and at least half the scouts. of course it's reese's operation, but who knows how much john mara meddles.

This. Ross has to -- and will -- go also.
His second flameout.
according to Colin@gbn, Reese doesn't make the picks Â
I suspect ownership will let Reese and his crew conduct business as usual until the SB champion is crowned. Or until someone they want from a playoff team is bounced.

Because it's called Black Monday for a reason -- teams almost always make these kinds of changes immediately following the season, Otherwise they risk losing the top candidates. The playoff teams make their assistants and FO personnel available during their bye weeks. That's how Shanahan was announced as HC of SF, and Quinn was announced as HC of ATL, the day after the teams for which they were coordinators lost the SB. Deals were done.
about Wheeler trying to block Mack. That's a coaching issue by failing to give the kid some help with a TE or RB chipping. Mack gives good RTs problems.
Who was the guy that hired McAdoo as his OC?
Coaching is the biggest issue on this team, and had been for 4-5 years. Same OC, DC, ST coordinators for the last 3 years.
I'm ok with replacing Reese, but don't expect the new GM to hit on every draft pick, including first rounders - no GM ever has.
Last year's draft looks pretty good - Engram, Tomlinson, Gallman, Moss.
I agree with this. Reese, Ross and staff MUT GO. Abrams can stay Â

LOL. Amazing. The GM should never be held responsible ever, I suppose. Great stuff.
He will be let go by Jan 2 -- at the latest.

But McAdoo should be gone today before he does any more long lasting damage.
Thats on thing I really do blame Mara for - you can't allow your GM to hide behind the curtain.

This goes way beyond draft picks. Although Jwrry has made some terrible ones. - It's the basic nature and overall balance of the team as a whole.
The Mara's need to be humble and find someone who has a broader understanding. And whom they will listen to and learn from.
Reese needs to go, John & Chris need to step back and let the new GM run the show.
