When Need marries Best Player Available. The draft site that I've learned to trust best over the years, (2nd to Mike Mayock) is CBS Sports. So according to their BPA rankings (and Giants position needs), here how I look at he 2018 draft ...

Several options are available
First of all, don't reach, despite your need; trade down if the quality is not worthy at your draft position; trade draft picks for a worthy veteran; or trade those high picks for future multiple draft picks.
Agreed.
And Baker Mayfield #3.
To us.
Yes I know if you draft this high you should take a QB but the object is winning right? Eli hasn't lost the physical skills he can still play. He will have his WR's coming back next year and a more experiened Engram. Draft Barkley and now you have a dynamic offensive weapon out of the backfield.
Now the offensive line is shit...but spend the rest of your offseason and draft if need be on fixing that. I think you do that, the defense plays better, add some depth there and I think you're looking at a playoff team the next 2 years.
I wished that would have happened. Thanks to McAdoo, I doubt it will.
Smith from Georgia and Chubb from NC State are complete studs that will do the same to a defensive front.
When the final grades for the QB's are in, I think the order will be Darnold, Rosen then Mayfield. Since we have the 2nd pick right now and assuming Cleveland stays in the one spot and takes Darnold, I would assume Rosen will be the first pick. I can see a scenario where Cleveland trades back with Denver with Denver taking Darnold and Cleveland taking Mayfield.
If Eli were to stay and the new GM/HC like Webb, I would love Barkley in the backfield. He is a field tilter and would balance out our offense immediately.
This is all dependent on what Mara and Tisch do with front office personnel.
Probably. But if the Niners end up 2, they may stay and take Barkley. Also Lamar Jackson could break into the first 2.
BPA according to Reese means nothing. This is a guy who thought David Wilson was BPA. And
Top 5 pick, and Im looking at Barkley, Darnold, Brown, Nelson, or Chubb.
He's gotten better this year. Some team will take a chance on him in the first.

I can see that, but not with a top 5 or even 10 pick. He's definitely worth a flier late in the first, for example, he will almost certainly be better than DeShone Kizer.
