We’ve seen a lot of threads advocating draft position which is understood given this shit season. We all want something to show for it & drafting in the top 2 is very beneficial long term.
On the other hand, we all hate how the Eli situation was handled. Let’s say Sullivan is named interim HC and gives Eli the starting role back, where do you stand? The Giants have 3 division home games & could potentially spoil the Eagles getting a bye.
I don’t expect to win anymore games, but these games have all been close which does surprise me. Aside from the Rams, every game has been contested in the 4th quarter. Granted, the 2 teams we beat are awful (especially Denver).
So, how do you handle Eli potentially under center?
But regardless, no I'm not rooting for wins. The best interest of the team is to lose out, get a quarterback and try again next year. If you're going to be bad for a season, be atrocious and then build around a new quarter (see Colts in the Manning/Luck transition)
The whole season. I don't even care if the play the next 4.
This. If Eli returns to the lineup, I would like a competitive game against the Cowboys but a likely loss. Now, if the Rams beat the Eagles this week, then my interest changes for the Eagles/Giants matchup. I have an unhealthy hatred of the Eagles. I don't expect a win, and fully expect the Eagles to embarrass the Giants. But if they are coming off 2 losses and Eli is under center, I will root like Hell for Eli to pull a rabbit out of his ass and spoil the Eagles playoff seeding. Damn the draft slotting. After the Eagles, then the Giants can resume their losing ways.
That’s hoping they don’t do anything stupid like giving away the house to move up to take a QB if anything we need to trade down for extra picks imo
I don't know about rouge, but he might at least use some bronzer.
