Thank you for all you contributed to the two championships, especially the 2007 draft class.

he will definitely GM some where next year
my nightmare scenario

Reese becomes Browns GM
Reese hires Josh McDaniels
Sam Darnold stays in school another year
Reese drafts Josh Rosen

I think Reese will wait for the best GM job available, and Cleveland isn't it. His resume is actually pretty good
I doubt Reese immediately gets another GM job

Probably has to take a job a notch lower - personnel director, assistant GM, something like that. I do think he'll get another crack in the near future, just not right away.

for two historic runs that netted 2 SBs.

Reese was a passenger - at best.

This is false. Eli doesn’t win those Super Bowls without Snee, Tuck, Jacobs, Webster, Diehl, Bradshaw, Osi, and several others. Reese deserves credit for those drafts, as well as deserving blame for the team rotting around Eli since 2012
I appreciate what Reese did before he was GM

and then as GM. But his time had come, like Coughlin.

No one can take away his two rings. He earned them.
One of his last moves

Was drafting engram in the late first round. At least he left us with something positive.

Cleveland has 1 and 7 first round next year
also they are franchise that is current terrible but have some decent young players
they have never won anything

it is perfect Reese position
How many Probowl players did he draft?
weeg in the bronx : 12/4/2017 12:24 pm : link
Very few. His time as a Giant GM will likely be remembered for squandering Manning's golden years.
Best wishes, Jerry.

For the Super Bowl countdown clock that was a joke, and blaming the players for buying into hype instead of blaming yourself, and for helping throw TC under the bus, and signing off on the ELi benching. Good riddance.

Nothing anyone says can take away from this.
I took my son to the 2011 Super Bowl

and that 2007 draft where you did the new GM job as well as your old job! Great draft!
Reese was a good manager, but his last 5 or 6 drafts were his undoing
Rico : 12/4/2017 1:24 pm : link
He was an excellent cap manager who always negotiated hard to keep cap hits down, something his predecessor didn't do as well and that George Young didn't do at all. He considered all possibilities and was good at making many of them happen.

His scouting ability was a huge asset for us at first, but over the last 5 or 6 years he lost his touch, and that is ultimately what took him down. He ignored linebackers and drafted crappy offensive lineman, and he was too enamored with potential and ignored injury history. Our overly injured, not so talented young players were his downfall.
