How much changes in the last few games? Can't make that much of a difference.
McAdoo really needs to prove himself all over again

He was never an OC before coming here and that lasted only 2 years. With the way the offense performed while he was HC, his 2 years as OC get at least a little scrutiny as perhaps being influenced by having Coughlin here. He has a lot to prove and may need to go back to being a position coach for a couple of years before getting another OC position.
Is it that much of a reach

that a full-of-himself guy like McAdoo blamed all these stats on Eli? Isn't that what this is all about. It was Eli's fault and I'm going to prove it by starting Geno.
So I guess they still run this offense?

Yep, Coughlin was a hell of a coach. He covered up for this Mac mess.
You could see he wasn't the guy,

after his 1st preseason. Players got nothing out of training camp and nobody seem to know the offense. It was pretty clear.

Not at all... he might have wanted to get his offense on tape with Geno running it as a means to either saving his job, or getting others to think it could work with a mobile QB.

Either way that requires throwing your champion QB under the bus, which shows how classless and self-absorbed McAdoo was...

I think we're saying the same thing. Anyway, the guy proved himself to be a classless, self-absorbed asshole in the end.

You can make stats say lots of things, but there's not wiggle room in that failure-laden list.

He was a lousy offensive coach.
