Was just on Joe and Evan on WFAN.
When asked if Giants had a sitdown meeting with management today to announce firings, he said that he found out via a group text chat, where one of the other runningbacks send a Twitter link.
He mentioned he expects a formal sitdown with management at some point.
Has a good relationship with Spags, looking forward to working with him.
Didn't feel like McAdoo lost the team, but said that when you're 2-10 stuff like this is inevitable.
Second, it just happened and gets put out quickly due to social media
Third, I bet there is a meeting today.
After saying all of that, I wouldn't be surprised if Eli didn't know it was coming. I bet he got a heads up.
I've got no issue with how this was handled.

that the Giants are continuing with their great communications processes.
IN all fairness, the players have today and tomorrow off. Its hard to conduct a formal announcement when none are on the premises
Touche. Looks like I spoke before I knew what I was talking about.
Seriously??? What were the Giants supposed to do? Give me a break. Now we care that this group of under performers are offended about how they heard about this? Comical.
Agree with this and GP re: Twitter insta-news.
Because he was on the radio talking about the status of his current team.

If the board of your company was dumping C levels and VPs do you think you'd be called to be given the news prior to it happening?
You consider the GM and HC "C levels"?
Um, yeah . . .
