Lbs were always downgraded in this defense scheme, and teams understandably can't invest in every position.
But a good middle linebacker can clean up a lot of the tackles that leads to defensive breakdowns and helps prevent the big play. It leads to consistency and a good MLB will make a world of difference when we add one.
