Boomer had a fantastic comparison on the radio this morning.
He compared Ben McAdoo to Gordon Bombay in the Mighty Ducks.
In his first year, McAdoo had a friendly haircut and was kind of goofy and likeable. In year two, McAdoo came in with greased up haircut and a new attitude that none of his players bought into. Much like Gordon Bombay in Mighty Ducks 2, McAdoo's transformation caused him to lose the respect of his players
We got the McAdoo from the mirror universe. It's the only thing that makes sense. We just need to slingshot around the sun to get our 11-5 head coach back.
people don't really understand how appearance and the act of performing as something you think you should be, rather than yourself, resonates as fake and is much to transparent to command any level of respect.
Nobody I've ever seen in the history of coaching has managed to turn himself heel like McAdoo did. It's like pro wrestling branding 101.
Let this be a lesson to McAdoo and others... just be yourself. In all your glory. Goofy. Fun loving. Corny. Whatever. Don't ever change away from what's natural to something your not, especially if something tells you too.
I could see Annie Apple saying/tweeting that.

why do you care?

Dude it's been 24 hours!
This is a distraction. This is a distraction in a fire in a barrel. Any questions? Queue Super Bowl parade.
