We are going to try to do a live broadcast tomorrow from outside Giants Headquarters during practice with myself and Dan Duggan of NJAdvanceMedia.com. As a NY Giants beat reporter, Dan has been right on top of the events leading to the firing of Coach McAdoo and Jerry Reese, and will field questions and give his insight on what unfolded, why it happened, and what he sees happening going forward.
The link to the broadcast will appear on our Big Blue Interactive Youtube Channel. The link address of the live channel will be posted tomorrow morning before the broadcast.
Please post your questions for Dan on this thread below. We will be giving credit to posters that pose the questions used in the broadcast, and will try to get to, and flesh out the topic, on as many of them as we can before Dan has to run off for interviews after tomorrow's practice.
2) With Eli back starting and Webb now #2, is there a thought of releasing Smith to give him a chance to help someone else out and open a spot on the roster for a body (defensively or offensively)?
Thanks
What would your plan be for fixing the OL? LB corps?
Or is it just a preference of Spags/owners? (that's my guess)
Also - have you heard anything regarding Eli's prep for the upcoming game? Is he planning to play the entire game, or does he have any sense that he might be benched if things get out of hand?
In short - what specifically changed for Eli between what was originally proposed to him and what he's being asked to do now?
Do the Giants want Eli back next year?

I know it was reported that Webb was promoted to the number w but that report seems premature right now.
This is from Spags'press conference today:
A: Right now. Right now.
Q: Does Davis Webb’s workload increase or how will you handle that moving forward?
A: It has been increased. There has been an ongoing plan. You don’t see it behind the works, but there have been efforts there. I’ll call it drills where Davis has done things where he would do as he prepared to be a one or a two. So, that’s ongoing. Where we go with whoever the two is, we’ll just take it week-to-week.
Q: Davis Webb will handle scout team this week and isn’t going to split duties?
A: Probably not this week.
Also, what is wrong with our pass rush?
