I'm not bothered one iota if McAdoo doesn't pen a thank you note. Reese was a member of the organization for more than 2 decades, McAdoo just over 3 years.
to not issue a thank you note when he's only been on the job for 28 games? I think people just look for a reason to hate the guy. We're 2-10. You have enough reasons to hate him already.

There are so many reasons to hate him and I'm not as broken up about the Eli thing as most here.
By now you've heard through the sports "writers" that follow this team that I have been let go from the NY Giants. I know all of you think you know better, but as the smartest guy in the room, let me tell you this is not something The Duke would have done. The Duke would have protected me, as I said we must protect the Duke.
My view on all this is that our hands were just not heavy enough, and our football insufficiently complementary. Believe me, I have looked at the tape (which I have only recently been informed was the wrong tape, I was watching Friends re-runs, which explains a lot. Pheobe was heavy headed, by the way.) If not for some sloppy quarterback play, I'm sure our hands would have been sufficiently weighty. We came very close to scoring 30 points this week. And my plan of leaving a Undrafted Rookie Free Agent alone to block the Defensive Player of the Year would have worked if given just 5 overtimes to play out.
Now, I'm sure being let go like this would destroy some of you. But I'm not like you. I will stop by Jiffy Lube for another quart of oil for my cool Pat Riley doo, and and get back to work coaching the team. I will not let a minor issue like my firing affect me doing my job. I'll let all of you speculate on about what could happen or what did happen, I'll just get back to work preparing to beat Dallas.
So, the time has come. My security card has been disabled. My computer has been locked. My parking spot has someone else's name on it. My copier code has been deleted. My stapler is out of staples. My coffee mug that says "Worlds Most Complementary Coach" is no longer by the Keurig. My hands are heavy but my heart is light.
Apparently he's not a talented man of integrity.
(That gag works better spoken than written.)
Everyone should move on.

Now,back to the tape
and that is what he is good at.
Same story, different day.
Good one, maybe he should have written it on the "Duke" which he was always talking about protecting!

Next question.
