just a hunch that we win a couple more games and will be picking top 5 or 6.. I still think we beat the Boys this week and one of either Washington or Arizona... I dont see 2-14... If we want one of Rosen or Darnold we will have to trade up... just my hunch.

People are being irrational thinking there will be an Eli bounce. I don’t
see it.
Defense is injured. Offense is injured and can’t move the ball still.
1. Browns - Maybe they trade out of this spot (my gut tells me the Skins move up) or take a QB. Either way a QB goes
2. 49ers - Have Garapollo (sp)
3. Colts - This is my wildcard, but I think they stay with Luck
4. Broncos - I remember reading they were really high on Chad Kelley (IR), and I think they take another need
5. Bears - Drafted a QB last year
6. Giants - Have our option

Niners will trade out of that position to a qb needy team...maybe Us.

They will win one or two...but most of the teams in the running will win a game or two as well. At 4-5 they can certainly trade up if the guy they WANT is available.
If need be . . the Giants can ride Eli Manning for another year or two. Until they get a handle on the OL....it is not going to matter much who is under center anyway.

If the miners think they have their QB, they will draft Barkley. It lines up perfectly for them.

i think our ceiling would be winning one game the rest of the way.
Has anyone watched him a lot this year. I've only seen highlights. When he throws on the run or outside the pocket, he looks the part of a pro QB. The talent around him sucks, but how does he look in terms of managing the games, running the offense, ect.

I have been talking about Allen. He is a physical specimen. His senior year was no great shakes but this reminds me of when Marino fell in the draft. Anyway, when the workouts start you will see this guy rise up on the draft charts.
to Dallas and Philly with Eli (though I wouldn't mind knocking Dallas out or costing Philly a bye) and start Webb in the final two games against weaker opponents. Also, go San Fran!
He could become the best QB in the draft or he could be Jake Locker 2.0. The accuracy issues scare me and I think that he is just too risky to take in the top 5. If the Giants traded down to the early teens and picked up a future 1st round pick in the deal then I would be fine if they took a chance on him. Allen like Darnold would benefit greatly by sitting behind Eli for a year.

If they get an offer from within the top 5-7 picks that also gives them back a high 2nd (which they gave up for JG), I think they'd probably be compelled to take that, which would essentially amount to having acquired JG for a slight trade down in the 1st.
Not out there it isn't. I still see 3-13, and a top 3 pick.
That works for me. I can't recall the last time they beat
the Cardinals out there....yes, they won a SB out there...
but that's not the Cardinals.

In 2008 they beat both super bowl teams, Arizona and Pittsburgh on the road. In 2011 they beat Arizona again on the road.

I see the concerns, but I am betting he will go top 5.
I think accuracy is the most important trait in a qb Â
Injured on both sides of the ball, their coaching staff has gone down. Yes that's right. Spags is a failure as a HC, and is an average D.C. Now he has Dave Merrit which was predictable as his acting D.C. Merrit is a failed D.C. And is barely an adequate position coach.
On offense Sullivan remains the same, so there is no improvement on offense.
Eli can't play behind this horrid offensive line and no running game.
So all of you relax, well have a number three or higher draft pick. But that's no guarantee of getting a successful pick.so just watch the season peter out with a whimper and not a roar.
RE: Giants may win 1 more game by luck or averaging out. Not only are they Â
This team won’t win another game Have a feeling Rosen will be the first player selected I think Darnold is a bust waiting to happen probably going to have to make a deal with Cleveland if you want Rosen or trade back for Mayfield.

I’ve seen him. His team is below average talent wise.
The best thrower of a football in this draft. Guy has a Marino type arm. Big and athletic and he can move. The player wth the biggest upside in this draft...but perhaps the most downside...? Not sure.
He’ll kill it at the Combine - in all the drills. If he interviews well he may go right to the top 5,

Got knocked out or didn't play in 11 of his last 19 games. That is a very scary stat when you're picking very high. He can surely spin it when he plays but he has injury concerns besides his lack of winning. He does have the physical skills to be special.

My thoughts exactly...
The only problem is that these sources were not named, cited or linked to. This got back to Rosen who took to Twitter and refuted the claim.

Allen's an inch taller than Rosen and Darnold.

+2.
Well said.
Just lose, baby!
So I can see a Giants win this Sunday.
However, it s the same offensive line, the same immobile quarterback, the same set of wide receivers and the same guys calling the plays.
Also Dallas gets Shawn Lee back.
Enthusiasm and emotion only last so far into a game. Eventually you have to block and score.
Do think Giants D can play well against Dallas

Let's assume we move to #6 in the draft order.

Just so everyone's aware that you don't know what you're talking about, Dave Merritt has never been a defensive coordinator at any level.
