The documentary is called "Long Shot."
If you haven't seen it, some incredible "what if" scenarios play out. Everything fell right for this guy, who took his young daughter to Dodger Stadium. While he's there, a young woman is gunned down not far from his home/neighborhood, and a credible eye witness IDs him as the killer.
Enter Larry David and "Curb Your Enthusiasm," a cell phone call, and yadda yadda yadda, he's not put to death, but instead is released to live his life.
The production is about 40 minutes. Seen it? Well worth your time.
still a cool story
And Marty Funkhouser wouldn't give him a ticket to the game because he was saving the seat for the spirit of his late father. Marty also gets arrested for getting caught while wearing Larry's jacket with the pot Larry bought for his dad in the pocket
Also, the pot dealer ended up becoming Hurley on Lost, because the show runners of Lost saw the episode and went back and wrote the part of Hurley specifically for him.
still a cool story
I don't know. Watching the doc the prosecutor thought she had enough to go to trial even after the Dodger game video. The judge threw it out.
Seemed kinda weak? But I guess that's the definition of judge. lol

what struck me as crazy was THAT was the thing that really got him off, no so much the video. They always say if you get arrested don't say a word to the police, just ask for an attorney. If this guy did this there's a good chance he's sitting in a jail cell right now on a plea deal.
