playoffs. Playoffs?
for some of us.
bye in one league the other where i made the playoffs I have a quarterfinal game (PPR) my decisions are fairly easy I think but wouldn't mind some feedback of others:
WR2:
Mike Evans vs DET
Amari Cooper @KC
Dede Westbrook vs SEA
no-brainer for Evans right now, but what a disappointment he's been.
then Flex:
Gio Bernard vs CHI
Delanie Walker @ARI
or either of the two WR's I don't pick (Cooper or Westbrook).
I have Beranrd in now.
DEF/ST
Bengals vs CHI
Rams vs Eagles
Have Bengals in now.
Now, l need to choose 1 RB, 1 WR and 1 Flex between
Burkhead, Drake, Crabtree, JGordon and Dez
Also, Bengals have already ruled out 3-4 defensive starters and have a few more questionable... nice matchup but it’s gonna be tough to put out there normal stat line... don’t like Rams in that spot either... coin flip
Now, l need to choose 1 RB, 1 WR and 1 Flex between
Burkhead, Drake, Crabtree, JGordon and Dez
Drake only because Burkhead is TD dependent. Crabtree and Dez.
I have Baltimore's D, and I am not going to play them. Would you guys play the Broncos or maybe go with the Colts now that Tyrod is out.
Bernard but I am afraid that he might disappoint
I am in need of help in my flex. NPPR. Drake or Gordon? I was initially going Gordon, especially since the Fins are likely going to be down much of the game, but the weather in Cleveland is scaring me a bit.

Thanks. I have Drake myself. I think he is going to get 15+ points today.
Crowder or Shepard? Non ppr

Patriots in Miami isn't always a blowout and no Gronk, so I expect a close one Monday night or closer than records would dictate.

Burkhead, Crabtree (choice matchup), and I'd play Drake but I'm a little worried about game script. Still, I feel like you have to play him.

I would absolutely play Gio over Drake or McKinnon today. With Mixon out, Gio should get some serious work.
I have no problem with playing the Colts against Buffalo today.

I can't trust any Redskins' receivers, who knows who is going to be good any given week. Go with Shep assuming he is playing.
With Peterman playing you have to go Cooper
(DAL) Alfred Morris vs. NY Giants
(SEA) Mike Davis vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
(TB) Peyton Barber vs. Detroit Lions
(TEN) Derrick Henry vs. Arizona Cardinals
Thoughts?
Doug Martin is playing, btw, Barber shouldn’t be in any lineups.
Here are my RBs under consideration:
Burkhead @MIA (gives up 9th most points to RBs)
Fournette vs SEA (gives up 4th fewest points to RBs, and potential game script problem)
Derrick Henry @ARI (gives up 7th fewest points to RBs)
Al Morris @NYG (8th most to RBs but I really don't trust this matchup)
Here are my WRs under consideration:
Dez @NYG (no Jackrabbit, feel pretty good about Dez making plays today)
Diggs @CAR (12th most points to WRs, but Diggs has burned me so much this year)
Watkins vs PHI (10th fewest points to WRs, but Watkins has been pretty good with Woods out, as he is again today)
Dede Westbrook vs SEA (obviously, not the same defense with no Chancellor or Sherman, etc)
Help me out, this one determines who advances to playoffs, and already got stung by Kamara's injury.
Cooper in Stafford, in, Shepard in and Geno Atkins in.
Hyde, Perine, Jamaal Williams, Riddick (Abdullah is out)
Marvin Jones, Davante Adams
Locked in as my starters..
Melvin Gordon
Brandin Cooks
Adam Thielen

I'd go Burkhead (low floor, but high ceiling no Gronk likely no Hogan).
Dez
And Fournette, #1 rushing attack in the league

I like Cooper but think he's riskier than those two. Do you agree? I read that Cooper will be on a pitch count.
Westbrook feels safer but Hilton always has that huge ceiling.
Drake
Gio

Definitely play Evans. I misread it first, thought you had Evans in and needed one more. I'd still stick with Gio in your flex.

Gio and Drake.

ok I am thinking about going with Hyde and Riddick or Hyde and Marvin Jones. What do you guys think?
Westbrook feels safer but Hilton always has that huge ceiling.
I'm benching Hilton as hard as it is to do. Snow rolling into Buffalo all afternoon, and winds throughout the game sustained at 18-19 mph. Not sure how Brissett will respond in those kinds of weather conditions, but I don't think that the weather today is going to be conducive for a downfield, deep ball receiver like Hilton to be very productive today.

I don't see how anyone can bench Marvin Jones playing in Tampa today. Weather is chilly but sunshine-y day here in Tampa and Marvin Jones has been brilliant this year, and defense is a good one to go against. Hyde and Marvin Jones.

I still can't decide between Hilton and Dede... I could bench both and play Perine but I think the play is one of the WR's.

Would you feel comfortable benching him if Westbrook was the guy you were going to put in his place?
I definitely think Dede is a little safer. But it's impossible to tell. I could also use Perine but I'm torn.

L. Murray vs Car

Perine has the highest floor. Not sure whether you need a home run or safe points.

Safe is probably more important, honestly. I can't afford a bust. Perine does have a good matchup. I'm considering it.
I'm playing against Dak. I hate even looking at scores during the game. 4 minutes into the 4th Dak had 12 pts. he wound up with 30+ (my league gives bonuses for 40+ yd TD's).
went from a nice result in my favor to a huge "win" for my opponent. that Smith TD was a back breaker.

I just saw this and I did bench Hilton in favor of Dede.
He has Drake in his lineup tonight and I have Cooks. Not feeling that good about this right now.
Davante Adams in particular, got a TD with 17 seconds left in regulation and then a 2nd TD in OT to win the game. He barely had done anything prior to 17 seconds left in the 4th quarter. That was super annoying because I played against him in two critical matchups. It looks like I may win both, but still.
Sorry Eric. For Jamaal Williams, I really wasn't sure how much work Aaron Jones was going to get. Thought Aaron Jones might work a lot more back into the rotation but that wasn't the case. Williams was unusually productive through the air, as the Cleveland defense has been pretty good against the run this year.
On the other hand Hyde had a good game and Jones really was pretty close to having a much bigger day.
I did follow the advice I think from pjcas on going with Burkhead, Dez, and Fournette and so far has paid off. I need Burkhead to simply outscore Stephen Gostkowski to secure my spot in the playoffs.
He has Drake in his lineup tonight and I have Cooks. Not feeling that good about this right now.
You have a pretty good shot. You just need Cooks to get in the end zone for you tonight. I don't think Drake is going for 20 points tonight.
3 TD's and 300 yards (with no picks or fumbles, if either happens then those totals need to be increased slightly).
Not out of the realm of possibility, but in Miami, no Gronk, no starting right tackle, and maybe no Hogan, unlikely.

I have a 6 point lead.

I'm the Drake owner. No way I'm winning unless Cooks gets hurt. Hilton and Shepard blew it big time. I knew I should have played Duke instead of Hilton.
Needed to win in my main league to make the playoffs and every single one of my opponents players found the endzone...
Gurley, Hunt, Bell, Gordon, Dez, Tate, Henry... every. single. fucking. player.
Can't make it up.

In my main league (the one where I made poor sit/start decisions) I am ahead by 18pts and my opponent has Brady and I have Cooks also going in this league which is standard (no PPR). The good thing is if he edges me out, it is not over. This league has us going up against each other for TWO weeks combining the two weeks' totals to see who wins. So, 12 teams and only 4 make the playoffs. Two weeks for each round. The shitty thing is that you play on week 17. Last year I won the league but me and the guy I was up against were dropping/adding in week 17 because teams were resting players. So stupid. If it was not guys I have been friends with since Pre-K, I would not be in the league.

Dude I told you to bench Hilton. Meh, you probably would've lost anyway going up against that murderers row.
Btw, I love me some Dede Westbrook. I think the talent is there for a #1 type of receiver. It's just really soon for him but I'm pretty sure next year he will finish top 20 for fantasy receivers.

I did bench him in that league - it didn't even matter. Not even my optimal lineup would have won.
I started Hilton in the BBI league. I really didn't have many other options.. Kenny Stills and Jordy were the only WR's on my bench.
I had no idea the snow was going to be like that in Buffalo yesterday - the forecast I looked at said "snow showers"... it looked more like a blizzard.
Drake has over 20 and Cooks has a goose egg.
Looks like I managed to survive and will get my shot at Ronnie.
eliminated in my second league.
third league I've been riding the Killer B's (well two of them in Ben and Brown), tough matchup this week in the semis.
