Actually in all fairness that really should have been aimed more at City Football Group rather than MCFC, but they have a hand in it too.
As a fan I find it more than a tad frustrating that a team owned by the Atlanta freakin' Falcons can go out and sign 3 explosive, dynamic and young (24 y.o. or younger) Designated Players and all the geniuses at CFG can do is send us a broken down Lampard, a washed up Pirlo and come July/August it looks like we're going to be graced with a 35 year old YaYa Toure. blech
should anyone be interested, NYCFC traded Frederic Brillant to DCU this morning. No player coming back to us, just MLS funny money and an international slot.

Good trade for us. Brilliant is not good enough for a starting spot on a top team. I really think we'll see a 3 man backline next year.
Villa-Fernando Torres!
Wallace-Maxi-Harrison
Ring----Herrera
Callens---Brilliant--Ferraresi
Johnson
I bet they can get Torres with TAM, and hope they bring in a DP winger to replace Wallace and maybe Harrison if he goes to England. They really need depth all over the place.
City leads 1-0. Silva off a set piece.
1-1

Yeah that makes no sense. Without them no Herrera among others.

Both DeGea and Ederson made multiple spectacular saves on quality chances and build ups.
But that won't stop you from your typical bashing of the EPL.
I thought the game was exciting as hell and I'm thrilled my squad won.
City didn't play well but I am always impressed with their ability to win back possession. They really get after it - just like Bayern, Barca, etc.
And their passing ability inside the box is really fun to watch. They find space that just doesn't seem there...

Brutal quality today in this one.

The keepers were fine, the defenders in front of them were awful.
If those goals happened in MLS people would call it what it was: awful.
But overall, that was a great game.
Bitching about 'quality' just reeks of arrogance, bitterness and an agenda, especially considering the pressure and stakes of the game today.
I tuned in this morning expecting better than I saw. If I'm bitter about anything I guess it's that.
