even while still watching Giants games every week.
I can't enjoy the rest of the league's games, though. Not just because the Giants suck this year, but because the NFL product is in a sharp decline recently as far as the on-field product goes. The refs are awful, the pacing of the games is terrible, the quality of play thanks to the severe cutdown of practice time sucks. It's just an overall awful product. Only thing that keeps me sticking around this trash product is the Giants; yes, even when they suck, because like everyone else here I'm a diehard Giants fan.
It's sad, though. 10-12 years ago, I could watch non-Giants NFL games and be extremely entertained for an entire Sunday. That's not the case for me anymore. It's Giants or nothing for me when it comes to the NFL nowadays. To me, the on-field product from about 2002-2012ish was it's peak. Ever since 2012ish, they've gone overboard with the commercial breaks, constant screwing around with the rules, refs getting worse and worse even WITH instant replay, sloppy on-field play with less practice time, and of course, Thursday Night Football.
Until they fix at least 2 of those issues, and that's being kind on my part that I'd settle for only 2, are fixed, the NFL outside of the Giants will be unwatchable to me.
Same.
...and we can officially close out the Eli era with a brand, spanking new QB.
Second pick would be something very good coming from this season
This is going to be exciting time for Giants
This season sucks but I'd rather have football to watch than none.
2nd and 6, completion, still third down..
third down, dropped pass, punt....
I was hoping the offense would at least try to open up......it looks like Mac never left!!!!!!!
like a glorified preseason
So desperate that I was glad do find a quarterfinal game involving N.D. State and Wofford...then a HS D-III championship game.
like a glorified preseason
True.
I'd like Webb to get into a 4th Qtr one of these games for 3-4 series in garbage time..
If Eli is okay with that, and I mean that. We should make Eli as happy as possible i.e. Scott Perry and Melo
