Watched JPP today........

Nuttin honey. Back to his one arm "attack"... he gets out leveraged and out hustled on 96% of all plays from scrimmage, the sooner he is sharing a barstool with b.m and j.r the better.
Just collecting weekly paychecks

He has been awful this year.
Especially enjoyed the broadcast report that he went up and down
Bold Ruler : Mod : 12/10/2017 5:46 pm : link
the sideline urging the offense to get it going.

HAH. Amazing.
Agree

He's been playing like crap all season. It's been overshadowed by everything else but he's putrid!!! Not a surprise this is coming after the big contract he just got. Now he's back to playing with the big club on his hand. No more glove. Terrible signing
Should've been cut when he refused

a visit from Ronnie Barnes after the fireworks incident. One of many recent blunders by the front office.
He got mad at one point and even shouted at the offense
djm : 12/10/2017 6:07 pm : link
So he's got that going for him...

Just make this season go away. Nightmare. FF has been even worse.
I know this is off the beaten path, but my goodness

Bromley has turned out to be a bust. On the list of Jerry's annual defensive tackle draft picks, the only guy worse than Bromley might've been Marvin Austin. As soon as Bromley comes in the game the other team gets a 6+ yard run.
Did you notice the same time JPP shouted at the offense
Jimmy Googs : 12/10/2017 6:18 pm : link
the defense fell apart?

Now that's a leader...
Regarding Bromley,
bceagle05 : 12/10/2017 6:21 pm : link
I remember watching NFL Network's "Finding Giants" miniseries that followed the scouts through the draft process. When they drafted Bromley, one of the scouts said that it was a reach, but they needed a DT. He admitted this...on camera...

Easy to see why we've fallen so far.
Reach??
Jimmy Googs : 12/10/2017 6:22 pm : link
whats that mean...
We just happen to root for a...
M.S. : 12/10/2017 7:00 pm : link
...fucked up 2-win team.

What does that make us?

Hmmm... maybe let's not go there.

Not to kick a guy while he’s down, but Bromley was another major reach by Reese in the third round. He fucking sucks. Hopefully he’s gone this spring.

Translation: we are fucking tired and ready to fold.
Sad thing about Bromley
SLIM_ : 12/10/2017 8:43 pm : link
He is one of our better recent 3rd round picks.

JPP. I think the guy has been nursing an injury all year that we don't know about. Football is a tough sport.
Unfortunatley
Breeze_94 : 12/10/2017 9:06 pm : link
it is going to be hard to move on from JPP this offseason. They would have to trade him, and I don't see any team willing to take on his contract for such little production.

They can't cut him because of all of the dead money. It would actually hurt the Cap situation. We are stuck with him for at least 1 more year
JPP bad, but Vernon a disgrace, considering his build-up as
Reese's Pieces : 12/10/2017 10:24 pm : link
as a great signing of an elite DE only 26 years old.

In his 25 games with the Giants, to go with his 12 sacks has ONE forced fumble.

JPP, who has been just as bad as a pass rusher, has a slightly more respectable 5 forced fumbles and and 11 passes batted away. Vernon has 3 pass defenses.
JPP and Vernon’s greatest games this year

Can't trade him either, the amortized signing bonus accelerates.

We're stuck with the JPP of useless DEs.
Are you suggesting

that JPP, JR, BM share a barstool? The only way that could possibly happen is if they flipped it over and each sat on a leg!
Please not that excuse again.

The guy had one great season, 2011. Next year he was lazy, fat, out of shape, and no longer an elite player. Then the story surfaced that he had been playing with miscellaneous injuries. The guy has never nearly gotten back to his 2011 level, and fans keep making up excuses.
Hopefully
Bernie : 12/11/2017 1:16 pm : link
The Giants take their medicine with OV and waive him this offseason (saving $5.0 million on the cap but eating $12.0 million of dead money) and then cutting JPP in 2019. Cutting JPP this offseason would cost $5.250 against the cap while saving $9.5 million if a 2019 cut (w/$10.0 million of dead money in 2019).
