got off the bus after alittle delay which was strange. walked out and all the stores are closed and people were urged to evacuate the place. outside was chaos. people were told to cross the street through traffic. just a mess
(and I wasnt that close) but still in the building. I was close enough that the police standing by were adamant that we clear the area and FAST, which was different than the usual "nothing to see here, keep moving" way of handling these situations when they are more under control.
My brother goes through there, my friends. We all have young kids. Makes you stop and think.

Unloaded off bus as usual but then 8th ave exits were blocked off by cops forcing you to go to 9th ave.
Glad to be at my desk. Hope all other BBI commuters were unaffected.
All buses being dropped off at 10th Avenue. May be a real mess of a commute home
