I've enjoyed this blog for many years and only occasionally commented. But topics currently are less about Xs and Os and more about things in my experience and expertise (e.g. business management and strategy, personnel, motivation) so I have chimed in a lot more recently.
My original profile was very sparse and I've now updated it.

Accordingly I will not chime in on technical Xs and Os discussions, but I do understand motivation, and business operation and strategy.
I understand that this is an opinion board, and the core have been together for a long time; and thus sometimes the comments get personal. That makes the board interesting (NTTATWWT).
However, for whatever reason (it may be that I'm in my 8th decade), I'm not comfortable in that type of ongoing personal give and take. (fire away)
That should NOT preclude anyone from explaining why my post was wrong, stupid or downright ig'nant. I may reply if I think I was misunderstood; but I will not respond on a personal level. (e.g. Jane, you ignorant slut...) Millennials, ask your parents about that one.

Firstly my MBA was in 1972, so you can safely say my opinion of the graduate program is dated. At that time they made a complete transformation of the MBA program, replacing almost wholesale, the existing faculty with new hires from U of Chicago and adopting their theoretical philosophy and curriculum.
The MBA choice, which I presume still stands, is that the UR MBA is theoretical as contrasted to RIT which teaches management from the "practical" side. (I consulted for a year to RIT). (And of course Col Tom started his football career there.)
But that's not what you asked, you want to know about undergraduate programs. My continuing contacts with the university confirm that the undergraduate program maintains a very high tradition of excellence. (My wife recently retired as a Director at Strong and my son, now tenured at Ohio State, got his PhD there.) You already know that it ain't cheap.
If he can get in, he can't go wrong.

You couldn't be more wrong. KeoweeFan has been a longtime member. And yes, he does't post often, but longtime BBI'ers should recognize him even without the reintroduction. The only reason why Keowee started a reintroduction thread was to remind old time members and new members alike. Or, he just too old and couldn't remember himself so he wanted to reintroduce himself to his profile?

Trust me, 8 Ball, KeoweeFan is not Peggy. Don't confuse random capitalization by an octogenarian and the writing style of Peggy. For many whom have been around long enough like KeoweeFan, the Shift key and Caps Lock key are cutting technology. No offense, KeoweeFan, I haven't used an ATM (MAC machine) since 1993.

The fact that I am from Clemson SC (in my profile) may explain my non sequitur of "go Clemson", as might my continued advocacy of Goodson, Watson and Gallman over the last year.
I have no idea about why folks relate me to Elite, but if it is proper English and rational thought, I have no apologies. (again smile)
You are quite right, I overuse commas and paragraphs intentionally to separate thoughts (in order to simulate verbal conversation).
From what I have surmised about FMIC I would love to be good buddies (I understand he once resided in nearby Anderson, SC) but alas, we never crossed paths.

BTW, when I worked for Western Electric 40 years ago, they provided me with a company car to take me and my punch cards from the Kearny plant to Bell Labs in Princeton, the closest computer available for manufacturing. You are correct, that computer did not have a TAB key.
Given that I have continuously used computers since then as they evolved, it is possible that some have under estimated my literacy.
