They may have to suspend the whole league.
Very true.
I don't doubt this claim at all. Good job by the NFL network
Aww, fuck...should us Average Joes need to worry about what's coming down the pike? I knew I shouldn't have sent those pics....

These are testosterone driven athletes working in a locker room atmosphere...anybody actually surprised about this?
I've never seen anything like this in any professional workplace I've been in...clearly it happens but is it really this prevalent?

Good point
I think it would be more impactful if these things didnt have that "revenge" notion to them.
I also would expect that if this many people were involved there has to be so much more to have happend it cant just be her. This will get ulgy
seems to me...she encouraged it and as peers....who knows whar went on
She claims in the suit that Faulk groped her breasts and behind and asked her “deeply personal and invasive questions” about her sex life. Cantor also claims that Taylor sent her inappropriate pictures and a video of himself masturbating.

Right...because that strategy is limited to one network. Maybe surf a bit more, every channel (news and all sports networks) employ that tactic. Your bias is showing...
Not surprised in the least. The entertainment world is a den of snakes it seems

Maybe nobody told those guys that that type of behavior was frowned upon...

Like the Weather Channel. A couple of border line models telling me about how many inches we are getting.

at best, but am curious why this middle-aged woman was the object of desire for so many - this seems like a situation where additional accusers will tip the scale.
Looking at her and knowing when men generally think it's OK to start being skeevy, I'm thinking she was being playful and loving the attention then got fired for someone 21 years her junior and decided to turn and attack. Were the exchanges gross? sure but we don't know what she was saying or doing to have THIS many dudes be skeevy to her. She could have put an end to it but my guess here is that she enjoyed it and encouraged it until she got fired.
Seems to me she tried to put an end to it and was told looking the way she does, she has to expect that type of stuff.
Hey, he's also a buddy of Skins owner Dan Snyder!
2) NFL Network subsequently becomes a clown show, much like ESPN. Co-incidence?
3) Did he bring the ESPN culture with him?

I miss the old NFL network (sigh...)
I know what you're getting at. The way a woman responds to these situations can often make men feel more permissive around them. One thing leads to another, and the next thing you know it's just a pervasive clubhouse attitude.
Having said that, her response may not have been because she enjoyed it. She may have been uncomfortable with things but used humor to hide how she felt. A lot of people do this.
As for stories I may have myself, that’s tough. I’m reading some of these stories posed here and have similar ones of my own, but I did not consider myself harassed.... even if I wasn’t welcoming of the advances
I think that it is more than that too. All three of those professions have entitlement cultures, at least for the "name" folks. For much of their lives, people tell them "yes" to every little thing, no matter how bizarre or even odious it is. They learn that with celebrity, simple rules don't often apply. They learn that they have power and then they learn to use and exploit it. It happens in the real world but I'm not sure it's as endemic or inherent in the life.
That's spectacular stuff.

NBC’s latest controversy comes at the hands of Mike Tirico, who is set to anchor the embattled network’s coverage of the upcoming Winter Olympics despite a past that includes various allegations of sexual harassment, including stalking, groping and making explicit comments to female colleagues.

Mark Shapiro is basically responsible for the careers of Jim Rome, Steven A Smith, and the rise of yelling faces and hot takes as TV content in sports media. No surprise things go to hell wherever he slithers. He's a purveyor of trash media.
