Somehow, this guy has a job.....he has done nothing with the TE's.....I really think, Gilbride stepped down and said nothing, so his son would have a job, and add something to his unimpressive resume....
What amazes me is he never played TE or WR, and yet he got coaching gigs for this in college and the NFL....in college, he was a backup qb, at U. of Hawaii.....
it's one of those things you can't really know for sure but I would guess that group is one of if not the worst in the league at the moment. We have looked poorly coached for a long long time, and we have been terribly at developing out JAGs into solid starters who can at least be counted on not to fuck up. The second injuries hit we look like the fucking three stooges at whatever position group is undermanned and inevitably end up bring in people off the street to replace guys who should know the system better and have been working with the coaching staff the entire time.
He's had the bottom of the barrel to work with until Engram, and Engram is playing really well. Not sure our TEs coach is major point of weakness considering we've been getting by on UDFAs for the past 5 years.
I think every single coach from this staff should be fired.
Let the new GM and HC hand pick their own staff. Not only has this team been an overall disappointment the last few years, with last year the lone exception, but there hasn't been any significant sign of improvement in player development.

How do you know he has "done nothing" with the TE's? And it is not at all uncommon for position coaches to have played other positions at some point. Ben McAdoo was a TE coach before becoming QB coach. Bill Callahan is regarded as one of the better OL coaches in the NFL, and he was a QB in college.
I have no idea if KG Jr is a good coach or not, and I suspect he will be on the unemployment line with his coaching colleagues.
I'd have to see him in a bigger role to be able to evaluate him fairly.

Because I was surprised he was still on the staff esp coaching a position that has not been a NYG strength.
