I play the top team this week. Win and I will make the finals.
With Wentz out how much do the Eagles rely on the run game? Ajayi has clearly out touched both Blount and Clements. Would you start him this week vs Gmen?
Pick 3
Hunt vs LAC
Hyde vs Ten
Morris vs Oak
Ajayi vs Giants
Also would you play AJ Green vs Minn? He will have Rhodes on him all game. OR would you start either Robbie Anderson vs NO (McCown is out and Petty is Qb) or Goodwin vs Ten?
thanks
Some decisions I have:
QB:
Matt Ryan @TB
Ben vs NE
Normally I'd roll with Ben, but after the thrashing NE got from Miami should we expect a bounce back?
Hard to sit Ben, especially when I have AB, but TB stinks, pass D dead last.
D/ST:
Eagles @NYG
or
Saints vs NYJ (no McCown)

I actually like Matt Ryan to bounce back against a terrible TB secondary.
I'd flip a coin on those defenses. You should do well with either one.
Pick 3 RB / 3 WR or 2 RB / 4 WR
RB's:
Gurley @ SEA
McCaffrey vs. GB
Hunt vs LAC
Perine vs. ARI
McKinnon vs CIN
WR's:
Green @ MIN
Diggs vs CIN
Funchess vs. GB
Gordon vs BAL
Westbrook vs HOU
Hogan @ PIT
Only reason i give pause is Ryan has had such a shitty year. 17 TDs all season.
I'd keep an eye on that for sure but there's no way a forecast this far out is going to be all that accurate.
Hunt and Gurley are must starts
AJ Green and Gordon are must starts
After that I would have said McCaffrey but he's been hurt and I saw Stewart was the man last week so not sure what's going on there. If he's usage is way down, consider Perine.
Diggs or Funchess is a toss up.
I dont think you can trust Westbrook or Hogan in this spot.
Pick 3 RB / 3 WR or 2 RB / 4 WR

Gurley @ SEA

Perine vs. ARI
McKinnon vs CIN

I dont like 4 WRs better than 3 of your RBs.
Thinking...
Gurley
McCaffrey
Toss up between Hunt and Perine
Green
Diggs
Gordon
But fantasy is weird. A guy in that league just advanced with two zeros in his lineup (Ertz, Jalen Richard) and is still carrying Pryor, Semian, and David Johnson.. but because he started Bell, Wilson, Thomas, Tate, Gio, and Denver he still put up 163 and eeked out a win against the team I was most worried about facing.
Teams like that have no lineup decisions to make. Meanwhile, I can easily play a guy who puts up 10 in favor of a guy who drops 20+... which sucks. But I guess I'd rather have the options.

and its a forecast for rain Monday night, just throwing that out there...
I'd keep an eye on that for sure but there's no way a forecast this far out is going to be all that accurate.
Of course, just something to consider.
Rodgers at Panthers
I'm 99% sure I'm pulling the trigger on Rodgers if he's cleared but the Brees matchup is awesome...

In Semis, I have many decisions.
QB: Big Ben or Rodgers, tough one, leaning towards Ben, my opponent has Antonio Brown
RB: Drake, Jamaal Williams, Alex Collins are my 3(Must start 2 at RB, can have one at FLEX), I have Dion Lewis but I am benching him because I think those 3 are better options at this point and are getting yanked around by Belichek and playing obviously lesser talent.
WR: Davante Adams, Devin Funchess, Golden Tate, Ju Ju Smith- Shuster, Marvin Jones Jr. I am leaning towards definitely benching Marvin Jones Jr. I think Adams is must start, I am leaning towards Devin Funchess because of the matchup, and my opponent is most likely going to start Cam Newton, his other choice is Mariotta or some waiver wire pickup. I am leaning towards benching Ju Ju.
Flex: Its basically between Golden Tate and Alex Collins, If I go RB: JWill, Drake WR: Adams, Funchess
TE: I get Gronk back, I think ill start him, I heard he is pretty good at this football stuff :).
DEF- Saints (home vs Jets with Bryce Petty or Dolphins (on road vs Bill against Joe Webb most likely, and they looked real good Monday night) I have streamed D basically Whole year and it has worked.
any of your opinions are welcomed and thanks in advance! those in playoffs, good luck, go get 'em this week!
There's something not quite right with him and that offense, its never clicked, maybe they'll be better next year and/or realize they need a new O coordinator cause Sark might not be it.

You can't trust the workload with Ajayi. I expect the Eagles to run the ball a little more but it could just as easily mean more touches for Blount and Clement. I would go with Hunt, Hyde, and Morris, who knows this is his last start before the return of 'Zeke...I think he's going to make it count.
I agree with the others on Goodwin...I think he's a really good play this week. Hard to bench Green, but I'd do it.

As shitty as it feels to do I'd play the Eagles. Their defense is playing with a lot of confidence, and I definitely see them fired up and winning this one for Carson.
And play Big Ben vs the Patriots. Ryan is playing on the road still, even with crappy Bucs' defense, with Big Ben at home and Juju Smith-Schuster coming back, Antonio Brown playing his best football of his career right now, just stay the course, don't overthink this. You are going to get a really good start from Roethlisberger.

I would play Gurley, Hunt, and McCaffrey. I hate McKinnon, and Perine isn't rocking my world. At receiver, I like Funchess, Westbrook, and I would play Gordon. If you have any doubts about Green vs Xavier Rhodes, check out Julio Jones' stat line for week 13 when Rhodes followed him all over the field. Yes, Green could get him...but I don't feel like I would trust that matchup with the finals on the line.

You play Aaron Rodgers if he's starting.

Big Ben is my #2 fantasy QB this week next to Russell Wilson. So unless you have Wilson, I'd play Big Ben.
You're fine with your evaluations of your RB and WR thinking. If Hundley starts, I would start Jamaal Williams in your flex. If it's Aaron Rodgers, I would start Drake. Check the weather in Buffalo this weekend, though. If it's a bad weather game, I would downgrade Drake and go with Adams in that case.
At this time of year if you are not factoring the weather in your lineup decisions, you are doing yourself a disservice. The only other thing I would add is that you shouldn't factor in your opponent's lineup decisions. Complete your lineup based on who you think will score you the most points, not whether or not your opponent has the QB that is going to be throwing the ball to your receiver, etc.
Keenum vs Bengals
Goff vs Seattle
Could also get either Ryan, who plays Tampa, or Cam, who plays Green Bay
I should also add its PPR. Then would you start Collins over Funchess or Adams in Flex. I think unless its crazy blizzard like last week I'm going to have a hard time benching Drake, guy looks legit. But then I have the other 5 guys to start, its a good problem to have I got 6 players I like for 5 spots and really more than that if it was just a normal week, but since its playoffs I am going for guaranteed touches/opportunity which is why I like the 3 RBs and 2 WRs.
Was joking around with the my league commish if we could start 2QBs 3 RBs 3 WRs and Flex for playoffs Id hammer the other 4 teams.

The snow was a factor this weekend but what really bothered me the most was the wind. If teams cannot pass the ball well because of high winds and reduced visibility from the snow and the cold weather causing the football to be less catchable because it's like throwing a rock, the offenses' ability to sustain drives is diminished. So regardless of the talent of the individual players, I have to downgrade all of them in those weather conditions. WRs and QBs more than RB's, but I still have to downgrade the RBs a little also.
Scrutinize Buffalo's forecast on Saturday. As for Tate, I like Funchess and Adams a lot more than him. I like Collins a lot. He's finished in double figures for points in standard scoring each of the last 4 weeks, with 5 TDs in that stretch. The only thing that concerns me with Collins is that the Ravens are coming off a heart-breaking loss in which they (as well as Collins) dominated most of the game and lost on a last-minute field goal, and are now playing the 0-13 Browns. A let-down game is possible. Not enough to bench him though. That team is still fighting for the playoffs and I think they are going to pound the Browns and Collins will be a big part of their game. The Browns have been pretty good against the run but let's face it, their offense doesn't give their defense any help and Kizer is going to give the Ravens plenty of opportunities and possessions for Collins to do damage. Collins would be a top-10 play for me this week.
You never know with matchups... Hilton managed to score against Jacksonville a couple weeks ago.
I guess we'll see how the week progresses. It'd be really hard for me to bench AJ though.

Thanks for the advice. so it basically comes down to weather and we really won know day of. Only thing is Tate plays Saturday, so I guess would you bench either Funchess or Adams for him.

So basically we’re in agreement that Tate should be the odd man out as it stands right now without the weather going to Hell in Buffalo or Cleveland(it’s basically on the other side of the lake, it could get bad there too).
If either or happens at that point I couldn’t use Tate or Marvin Jones , I’d have to use Ju Ju or Dion Lewis. Watch the Lions offense go nuts now, at least I have Prater I will be starting him, only other option would be Dan Bailey.
I feel good about this week let’s see, I had OBJ and have had Rodgers injuries so I’ve had a good year regardless making it this far. He has Kamara, who’s in concussion protocol , and a suspended Zeke so I’m happy I got this opponent this week and not in the championship. If Fitzgerald , Hunter Henry and Carlos Hyde beat me I’d be surprised, just worried Brown and Cam go off.

If you must, play him over Josh Gordon.

Benching AJ green in the semifinals would be pretty ballsy... I'm not sure if that's a move I could pull the trigger on.

McCaffrey is the guy I'm not 100% on... Jon Stewart played a pretty major role for them and McCaffrey may be a bit banged up.
I could start Gurley/Hunt and then go 4 WR's..
Green
Diggs
Funchess
Gordon
I could also use Westbrook instead of Funchess or Gordon.
Green is a tough bench... 28 targets in the last two weeks. He's always going to get looks and he's a top talent.

that's the way I'd go, Gurley/Hunt plus the 4 WRs you listed
