I see his name but I have no clue what he has accomplished.
Does he make any personnel decisions or is that Bill?
What is his role with the Pats
I get the Pats are the Pats - but what has Caserio done?
Does he run the drafts? Free agency?
When it comes to the Pats unless it’s Bill ,I am lost on how to measure front office accomplishments
This 2fer idea is one of the downsides. You asked us to sell you on him, but I'll do no such thing because it is not a sale I'm interested in. NYG should stay away from any and everything New England like the plague! Particularly McDaniels, but Caserio as well.
As stated in other threads, the BB coaching/GM tree produces almost exclusively bad fruit.
He has earned a lot of trust of Belichick and learned from him. BB coaching tree isnt strong but his executive tree is decent.
Doesnt hurt to have someone who has been involved with draft day trades up and down.
I also like that he has been with a winning organization from the time it began to be good up through great.
Most coaches never do anything in NFL. It's not surprising when one fails.

He atleast seems good at finding talent the head coach wants.
How do you know that? With the help of Belichick and their team of scouts, he puts together a draft board and then Belichick makes the picks. What role and how much influence does Caserio have on who is included on their draft board and how they are ranked, nobody knows.
The same can be said for any assistant GM type (not his title but said to be his current roll) Perception is he is one of a select few people whos opinion Belichick trusts
He has earned a lot of trust of Belichick and learned from him.
And what exactly is he trusted with when you say he has earned "a lot" of Belichick's trust. Maybe he is entrusted with being a proper "yes man" who is easy to communicate with (basically a glorified personal assistant). We have no idea what traits Belichick favors in the guy who serves as his Mr. Spock.
We know exactly what Belichick likes and trusts. He wants straight in depth answers. You better know everything down to the gnats ass. That is well documented from when he ran the Browns through any coach or players comment about his thoroughness.
BB coaching tree isnt strong but his executive tree is decent.
Can you elaborate on that? The only names that come to mind are Pioli and Dimitroff. Pioli failed as a GM when operating on his own and while Dimitroff's reign in Atlanta has had its share of success, his track record is nothing to write home about (others may disagree).
The below article lays it out better than I could
Freekin took me longer to figure out how to format this quoting peace than it did to answer the questions. Still think I messed it up

Is weird to me.
But for the Pats, it has been a line of failures. Crennell, Weis, McDaniels, Mangini were all pretty bad.
I especially am not sure why people like McDaniels. He not only made some poor personnel decisions, he had strained relationships with players and was more of a mirror image to McAdoo than Belicheck.
Hell, he had such respect from his players that Peyton Hillis was fucking his wife.
McDaniels was let go along with Spagnuolo after the Rams won only two games, had the second-fewest total offensive yards in the league and averaged a dismal 12.1 points per game.
Basically, most of the BB coaching tree only succeeds in NE.

That is a great point FMIC and is frequently overlooked. I remember the NFL films 30 minute episode they did on SB 42, and when they interviewed Spags and McDaniels about how they prepared for each other and essentially forged the relationship that brought them together in St Louis. McDaniels was terrible there. He did have Bradford in his second year and a premier back in Jackson and didn't do shit with them.
It further confirms that he has not done anything outside of NE and BB.
