Cowboy Fans at Metlife

Rover : 12/12/2017 8:07 pm
Forgive if this was covered in another thread, but just how bad was it Sunday?
It didn't seem, on TV, THAT bad...maybe 25% Cowboy fans...
Is there some kind of end result

with all this? Is this like a 20 year study that you are writing about canvases or is this just some weird obsession?
I feel like when the Giants are doing good
robbieballs2003 : 12/12/2017 8:14 pm : link
that there is still an abundance of Cowboys fans there. Maybe not 25% but a good amount.

I always love the undecided... hopefully the referees fall into that group!
25%

Seems pretty accurate. My section was less but overall seems about right.
My understanding was that there were 3 Giants fans at the game.

All of them cheered for Eli.
How much longer do we need to

FFS. How do you always know these things?!?
To find out
McNally's_Nuts : 12/12/2017 8:55 pm : link
I used the widely known mathematical formula known as I_AM_AN_ASS.

It spit out that it was 69.34 percent Giants fan

30.2 percent cowboy fan

And that one kid who dressed up as Ben MacAdoo
Biggest front runners in football.

The ones that show up when things for them are humming, like the past couple of years, wouldn’t have any idea who Roger Staubach is. You couldn’t find a Cowboys fan in Giants Stadium in the early 2000’s. But when things are good, they come out in droves. Biggest bandwagon in sports, and 90% are clueless ESPN driven kids.

IMO, there are people that are stupid AND know little or nothing about the NFL. When questioned as to what NFL team they like, they remember Thanksgiving at a family member's home and whammo! A Cows fan is born.

LOL, I was wondering the same thing. I wonder if this guy is compiling all of this data or something.

What a weird thing to obsess over.

Add Eli Apple to that group. [Drops Mic]
Dude it had to be 40%...they were everywhere

I've never seen a group of away fans so THICK. That even includes Ranger games in NJ.

Clearly anybody who went to the game didn't stay long enough. They were everywhere. There were more Cowboy fans at the end of the game then I've ever seen Giants fans who stayed for a blowout in the Giants favor

You never saw Eagle fans in 2013, 2014, 2015. Hardly any.

Really, it was THAT bad?
Didn't seem more than 25% or 1 in 4.
I went to the game
EliIsEliteX2 : 12/12/2017 11:32 pm : link
And I was completely surrounded by Cowboys fans. Their fans are very loud and annoying. A fight almost broke out after the Witten TD but security got things under control pretty quickly
They're a very weird bunch
Route 9 : 12/13/2017 1:47 am : link
Act as if they're trolls and they admittedly know themselves how annoying they are

This is really quite off (the numbers part, I have no particular opinion on the clueless part). Certainly road fans come out more when things are good than bad, but Cowboy fans always come out in large numbers, good season or bad. Consistently one of, if not the, largest road crowd the Giants get.

I'm sure once it's finally published, rover's almanac will support my comment.

this is simply not true. There has always been a ton of Dallas fans in attendance for games in our stadium - especially primetime games in the old building. It's been discussed here a million times.
40%?

Close to 30,000 Cowboy fans...really?
Gotta...

Hopefully those Texas blowhards paid premium price at beginning of season.
Too bad Giants are so bad, the game was there for taking. I was really hoping the snowstorm had hit Meadowlands, maybe someone would have nailed JJ and the glass wipers.
He is right... for Eli's first win
Route 9 : 12/13/2017 2:40 pm : link
There were a shit load of Cowboy fans with both teams not in the running for the playoffs and eliminated. I guess that's what makes it a fun rivalry?

Thanks for explaining what 25% means.
