I am leaning towards Bortles. On a hot streak. has put up 20+ last 3 games. His def also gets him the ball with stops and turnovers. Teams have to try and stop Fournette first.
I think the Sea-Rams game could be a shootout, while Jax should crush Houston. That said, the way to beat Houston is in the air as they are tough on the run game so Bortles may put up some good numbers early before the game is out of hand.
I'd probably lean Goff, he might have a lower floor as Seattle is a tough place to play - but he also has a much higher ceiling with the shootout potential and the injuries on the Seattle D.
Is Jordy Nelson back in "must-start" territory with Rodgers back under center?
He's been sitting on my bench for a bit now and wasn't playable with Hundley, but I hung onto him for this reason. Thinking he's got to be back in my lineup now.
Pick one player to flex...
Hilton vs DEN
Shepard vs. PHI
Duke Johnson Jr vs BAL
Lat Murray vs. CIN

Not sure if he's must start, but he's probably start over most options with ARod back.
I'd go Shepard if he plays, then Murray if Burfict is out, then Dookie.
1. Marshawn Lynch vs Dallas
2. Orleans Darkwa vs Phi
3. Doug Martin vs Atl
4. Kupp @ Seattle
5. AP @ Wash
6. Mixon @ Min
I think I can rule Mixon and Darkwa out. Leaning against Martin unless someone can convince me otherwise. I think AP is the choice if he plays, but Kupp if not. Any opinions?

I'm a little scared of Shep after the hole he put me in last week but I'd have to think he'll post slightly better numbers this week. The Eagles defense was very leaky against LA on Sunday.
I blew 10 of my last 12 bucks to grab the Saints D this week. Love the matchup against the Jets w/ McCown shelved. Their offense was pitiful in Denver - I expect more of the same this week.
He has two years left of arbitration eligibility before becoming a free agent. Gardner and Ellsbury could share CF responsibilities depending on how often Gardner or Judge/Stanton is in LF.
I'm not saying it should be Plan A, but if it took the inclusion of Hicks to swing a trade for Fulmer (or someone of similar value) would anyone complain? Florial is expected to be ready by 2019 or 2020. Is Hicks that much better than Gardner/Ellsbury for the next one or two years?

Rodgers - vs. Minn and @ Det
A.Smith - vs. Mia and @ Den
Foles - vs. Oak and vs. Dal
I'm leaning towards Foles for week 16 vs Oak and Rodgers @ Det week 17. If Green Bay is out of it and Rodgers sits week 17, I'd rather go Foles vs Dal than Smith @ Den. I have Rodgers and Smith currently. Should I drop Smith and grab Foles?
Wentz had a field day against seattle, Goff could do the same Â
we have 4 team playoffs starting this week for week 15 and 16. We also have a toilet bowl for week 15 between those in last and 2nd to last place. The loser buys some beer at next years draft - call it $30 compared to winning over a grand if they won the league outright.
Do you think its fair to have those in the toilet bowl be able to add/drop players and use their waiver claim or should it only be the 4 teams in the playoffs?
Goff over Foles for me. Foles averages under 16 points a start, and even that number is skewed by 2 monster games. I think the Eagles look to run the ball down our throats and minimize what Foles needs to do.

yes, the toilet bowl participants should be able to add/drop and use waivers if they are playing for something.

they should be able to add/drop free agents, but not make waiver claims IMO.
You know what I mean? Once waivers is processed they should be able to add/drop the rest of the scrap heap players - if there is a prize or penalty on the line.
My league freezes all rosters of eliminated teams except one which we do that until week 17 (which is after the playoffs end) and then we have a contest for $50 for most points final week of the season just in an effort to prevent all out roster tanking, etc. It's not a keeper league and it's a fun way to keep people interested.

Uconn, I would not allow them to use waiver claims, but once waivers are over, they would be allowed to pick up players.

I don't agree at all. I think they should be stuck with what they have but i'd consider add/drop after waivers is over. You had 14 weeks to improve your team, no idea why they should still be given priority over teams that actually made the playoffs.

Then have a rule that resets the waiver priority before the playoff weeks so that the teams in the good playoffs get priority. Or do what some others suggested and lock them out of waivers but let them do add/drops after - which assumes that you have an open period after waivers, if not then they need to be able to participate in waivers.
but its too late for that now which is the conundrum
Then its not a conundrum. You play by the rules that are currently established and institute a rule change for next year.
It is, we do everything by vote. We had the rules in place last year but some people are bitching about it this year because it now effects them. The rule last year was no roster moves if you aren't in the top 4 after week 14 is over. Some people are pretending that didn't happen and since the league wasn't set up to lock teams in time this year, certain people are bitching.

about it when all they have to do is buy some beer? Those people are losers. Easy solution...no waivers, free pickups after the waiver period.
Yup, its really fucking stupid. They are in a league where they can win over a grand and put a rule in place to punish last place (to make sure people stay competitive), yet don't like it when its them.
I would really appreciate some advice. PPR league:

Bortles vs Texans
Garappolo vs Titans

M. Lynch vs Cowboys
M. Goodwin vs Titans

G. Olsen vs Packers
V. Davis vs Cardinals
Thanks!
Ryan, Goodwin, Olsen.
Arc, would you go with Ryan over Goff and Keenum ??
I would. I don't love the matchups the other two have. Ryan is the best player of the 3 with the best matchup. He's had a troubling season - but I like him to have a strong bounceback game against TB.
Rodgers is preparing to start this weekend for GB vs CAR.
And a little reminder to BBI fantasy football players, there are two games Saturday.
I'm hoping it doesn't cost me but I'm starting him over Brees vs the Jets. I can see Brees having a 4 TD game or them just running 50 times. Atleast with Rodgers I know he will be throwing.
The Jets will be starting a crappy backup QB, Kearse isn't even their #1 WR and the Saints defense is not the same crappy defense they've been for most of the last decade. They have guys who can cover in that secondary now.
The QB situation in HOU is also a mess. Fuller wouldn't be a consideration for me.

no weather issues currently forecast for NY, and NO is in a dome.
I feel like the Saints D is at least semi-legit this year so far. but the Giants have almost no weapons and haven't scored 30 points in two years.
