to have three rate hikes in 2018. My understanding is that the new Fed Chairman wants higher rates to gain some maneuvering room when the next recession happens.
The problem is Long-term rates are relatively flat

Bond market is efficient and prices a lot of this in ahead of time. Don’t expect a commensurate move from the 10-year
