Barnwell ranks the NFL potential coaching opportunities

Defenderdawg : 12/14/2017 11:17 am
Giants...”If your new GM just focuses every moment of his offseason into upgrading the offensive line and brings Manning back on a farewell tour, the Giants could be a playoff team in 2018...”

“It might also be time to rebuild, however. Spending hundreds of millions of dollars on free agents over the past couple of seasons won't inspire ownership to continue investing, and with Manning on his way out of the league, the Giants either need to luck into a quarterback or take one at the top of the draft while they have the chance. The limited money left in the Giants' budget should be going toward Justin Pugh and Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason and Landon Collins next year. They'll be the core of the next Giants playoff team, but that's probably not coming until 2020.”

and Texans are better jobs than NYG? Ok...
I like Barnwell

as a writer but didn't think this column was that insightful. Does anyone really think the Cleveland Browns are a better job than the Giants? Would any potential coach take that job over the Giants?

I will give Barnwell credit for that column on Reese's failures. One of the best things I've read all year.

This was my thinking when Dorsey's name became public for the Browns. No way he would want to GM in Cleveland rather than NY. Of course he was courted previously and wasn't guaranteed a job offer if he did ever get to meet with Mara.

year get used to being a losing franchise. The Eli and Brady eras are quickly coming to and end just as it did for Peyton. Get the fuck out of the way so we can move on please.
The concept of the article was great.
