Anybody interested in Jim Harbaugh as next NY Giant Head Coach? He's my choice, hard to deal with but a winner1!
I'm to old to go back to the Horror days of the 70's.
I think the answer to "Anybody interested?" is always yes.
A lot of fans are interested. A lot of fans hate the idea. He's a quick fix. If you're good with looking for a new coach in a few years, sure. Right now a quick fix is better than no fix.
But: Are the Giants interested? Doubtful Is Jim Harbaugh interested? Even more doubtful.
Remember that if he's bailing on Michigan that's a big failure. He's not nearly as hot a coaching prospect coming off a failure in Michigan as he was coming off of his successes at Stanford and the 49ers.
So why should the Giants be in hot pursuit of a guy who seems to be flaming out?
he'll have them competing again soon. It's alma mater. As stated, it's also great for his personal life and his wallet. He has everything he could want
how he treated Manningham and Jacobs? I think he is the last coach the giants need. He came off like a spoiled little bitch if the reports were true about the crap he said and did to those two the year after the Giants beat San Fran in the championship game. Seemed very petty. maybe he changed since then, but for a head coach to act that way, id want no part of him.
His personality does not mesh well with young millionaires, he was rubbing a lot of people the wrong way in SF. He's perfect for the college game and a perfect fit for his alma mater.
Pat Shurmer is my choice. He's had success everywhere he's been with the exception of his time as Cleveland HC, which is a flat out black hole and shouldn't even count on his record beyond experience. What he's doing in Minnesota this year is insanely impressive. He's an experienced former HC that can fix our offense and is known as a QB guru. He's made Nick Foles and Case Keenum look and play like pro bowlers.

Do you think the Giants will ever pay him $9 million? Because that's how much he's making at Michigan.

Plus, he is finally getting a QB in Shea Patterson .
