When was the fatwa stuff over? [SPOILER ALERT]: the season literally ended with "fatwa stuff"
I believe around the episode with sammi’s fiance, it really took a back seat and the old Curb came back imo. I honestly didnt enjoy the 1st 3 or 4 episodes.
Solid season. The Fatwa stuff was a little weird at first, but I like where they went with it. Some classic stuff- The proper Thank you finale, the grandma coming back to the house and stealing the plant. the stuff with his GF and the "son on the spectrum". Like how they brought back a lot of the old characters.
I thought there were some really, really funny episodes this season. The Fatwa stuff got a little annoying but a bunch of the episodes in the middle of the season were hilarious.
I thought the first couple episodes were weak, but loved the last few. Â
of Season 8 (the season before the show went on hiatus). It wasn't pinnacle Curb and some of it was forced and overdone. However, I'm just happy to get to watch all these characters that I love and the highl points are great because they are unique to Curb-- I can't get that kind of joke from any other show.

The whole Jeff and Susie getting a new house side story was good.
The fatwa stuff was mostly silly, but I found the episode with Salmon Rushdie and “fatwa sex” pretty good
I agree. Atrocious start to the season, and I nearly gave up on it. Glad it got pretty funny after those first three terrible episodes.
So it is worth watching this past season?
We stopped watching after Larry David's SNL performance...
