With winter being here, this is usually the most time I try to tackle my backlog. Just finished Horizon Zero Dawn. Great, great game. Probably my game of the year.

I'm telling you, Ultimate Team seems completely refreshed this year with the daily objectives and squad battles.
I packed Griezmann early on and then Gamiero and Jordi Alba in the same pack, so I'm playing with La Liga and doing pretty well.
I like the fact I can get coins on squad battles if I know I'm not going to have time on the weekend to try and qualify for the weekend tourney.
Yeah I like FUT better than I remember in the past. The gameplay is smoother and closer to the regular offline gameplay.

I've built up Deportivo as my squad. They were cheap to start, and I figure I'll use them to build up something bigger. I want to construct a team based on a 5 man back line and a strong strike partnership...I've tried 4 man back lines and I'm finding the through balls are too effective against them.
Being incredibly anal about this stuff I've used all my club deletions, so I've got to make this one work and accept the fact that every detail is not going to be perfect from the outset.

I just got back into Fallout after getting a new 4K TV and XBox One X, and the graphical update to 4K on the game makes it look beautiful. Been looking forward to the VR titles for awhile, it looks incredible.

When my kid go to bed and my wife wants to watch a TV show that I have no interest in. I don't get into TV series.
Or when I have some down time on the weekend and the wife is out and the kid is napping especially in the winter. I game a lot less spring-fall when the weather is nicer
Been playing video games since Pong, and I'm still rocking my Homebrew original Wii, which runs all sorts of game emulators for other systems. Also still doing a lot of older PC games, with Hexen, Wolfenstein and Doom/Doom3 mods. Also playing around with Steam and GOG, may even buy some indie stuff/Humble Bumble packs when I retire!

My wife thinks reading is one of the only leisure pursuits that is valid. any other activity is a waste of time. So, if it is 10PM and she's in bed asleep and I'm playing XBox, she'll say something every now and then about it just being a waste of my time and energy, but if she's reading a book from 8-9:30 it is expanding her mind and intellect.
she still buys me games and asks if I want time for myself to play. That usually means she wants to watch a show for her own alone time but that certainly works for me.

How is that game? I kinda got burnt out on that series after Unity. Haven’t played Syndicate although I have it. I still say Black Flag is the best game of the series. I’ll probably pick up that game when it hits $20
Pretty good. I think they stopped trying to over do everything at this point and even with the last game, it was a better produced game. It seems to me like a very very "thick" game which much to do. I feel as if I've been playing it forever and I'm not even 20% of the game through so my one friend says. I don't know maybe it seems longer because I beat South Park in such a short time.
