Tiki Barber or Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw?

DennyInDenville : 12/15/2017 11:38 pm
I loved Bradshaw and Jacobs. Every single thing about them
On and off the field even to the day.

Do we love those men or what? Who ran angrier then Bradshaw? Who ran harder then Brandon Fucking Jacobs at full speed? Guy was lightning fast at full speed. It was straight SCARY for any DB.

That said, Tiki was a ridiculously great Bellcow RB later in his career, but has been such a little ass since then and even when he played he didn't give Eli respect.

Imo

Jacobs & gt; Tiki

Bradshaw & gt; Tiki.

Tiki & gt; Perkins

Combining Bradshaw and Jacobs in the thread title was just to ease you in.

Jacobs and Bradshaw.

I have no clue what the point of your thread is, but the Bradshaw/Jacobs duo was more successful than Barber as a feature back.

He's just so fucking cool

I love him and Bradshaw so much.

Man we were lucky to watch those guys give us everything they had.

Jacobs went easy at times after his pay day I will say, but my god he's still awesome

from a guy whose mind is mush.

Is this a fantasy question? Or do you bother to ask it within the context of a particular team?

We all know it's the former. And therefore completely useless.

Congrats on all your success. So fucking boring.

As things stand all the good he did for this team was forgotten.

Tiki
Sonic Youth : 12/16/2017 2:51 am : link
Tiki at the end of his career was a Faulk-esque RB.

If you don't say tiki, you simply forgot how amazing he was.

Peak tiki was a better rb than peak eli was a qb
There really is no
section125 : 12/16/2017 6:17 am : link
comparison.
Tiki Barber was two seasons from HoF. Leaving in a huff over Coughlin cost him a Super Bowl and the Hall.

Bradshaw was one tough SOB with a nasty running style. Jacobs was barely adequate in short yardage for his size. How many 3 and 2s was he stopped? Yes he could truck people once he got going and he was a good complement to Bradshaw.

Loved all 3, but Barber was the best RB in NYG history.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure if he still had a good relationship with the organization, they definitely would've given him a ring after the 2007 Superbowl like they did for Ernie Accorsi.

B's right, you're a dunce.
I always predicate a run blocking line
idiotsavant : 12/16/2017 9:53 am : link
So: >Jacobs.

Run blocking line, Jacobs, play action and single setback pass protecting unit as well.

Roughly similar to cowboys, without the holding. With Elliot.

Jacobs. Draft steal. As well.

Also. Very entertaining once he gets going.

idiotsavant : 12/16/2017 10:00 am : link
Forget. The run blocking changed half way through Jacobs. Bradshaw was great improviser and tiki was a good catch/,run option as well. Great balance after being hit.

But if you want to beat them down then pass long ...

Huh? Tiki was an exceptional pass blocker. Guys an ass but was the best RB the giants had in the last 20 years
Why do some of you
mdthedream : 12/16/2017 10:20 am : link
have to act like dicks when someone puts up a post? Look its a long season and topics can't just be about the teams situation. If you don't like it don't read it. Ohh I like Joe Morris the best. That said I love Tiki as the better talent over the other two but they made a great Combo.
For sure
idiotsavant : 12/16/2017 10:22 am : link
I just prefer bjac as entertainment and that type of game (cowboys are an example when they have Elliot) as a way to set up play action.

I cheated by predicating run blocking line. True.
Bradshaw beat tackles with wiggle and mad moves
idiotsavant : 12/16/2017 10:27 am : link
Tikis great balance at times enabled him to bounce off tackles, flow sideways and stay verticle, then just keep running.

Bjac hit lbs and safeties so hard, that really sets up your pass in a beautiful way over the course of a game.
Tiki
mdthedream : 12/16/2017 10:36 am : link
was a way better Receiver.
Tiki was the best all around and a bell cow
DennyInDenville : 12/16/2017 11:32 am : link
But Jacobs and Bradshaw are the REAL Giants.

Champions, twice. Both gave there blood , sweat and tears into those rings.

There was a few blocks in SB 46 in pass protection where Jacobs absolutely killed a few Pats LBs on a few plays.

Jacobs in pass protection was a weapon. He would block them
So damn hard at times, it would slow the player down the rest of the game.
I don't know
Natek212 : 12/16/2017 11:40 am : link
what the point of your thread is, but Tiki was a special player, although he turned into an ass. Tiki was one of the best overall running backs I've seen in my lifetime.

Jacobs and Bradshaw were both limited but together they were a force. They also benefited from an outstanding offensive line.

DennyInDenville : 12/16/2017 12:20 pm : link
That guy was so damn tough

Didn't he run on two broken feet and ankles??

Guy just wrapped them up with tape, and ran harder.

Him and Jacobs were so fantastic to watch.

Tiki as well.

This thread is a Tiki, Bradshaw, Jacobs lovefest, well atleast that was my intentions of the thread, haha. Guess the OP could have been a more solid one. I was just spitballing Giants fandom late last night, very slow weekend for me just relaxing, I was Too relaxed I suppose for some.

But man do I love Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw.

If you guys are reading this, I would take a bullet for you guys.
44 doing the right thing

I don't care what anyone says.

Bradshaw going into the end zone is what WINNERS like Bradshaw do.

So glad he ignored Eli on this one.
Winning play of SB 46 - ( New Window )
I am with Dennie
idiotsavant : 12/16/2017 12:38 pm : link
Whereas you could say tiki was the best of those three - in a vacuum -

Bradshaw functioned to cover for a crap line, which gave some a false sense of accomplishment.

And Bjac, prior to schematic and personell line changes, forced defenses to adjust, which opened up some great stuff down field.

In addition, Bjac wore people down, which helps everyone else on the 11 and the bench RB

In addition, Bjac bled and bleeds blue!

People do forget. Game winning drive against the Pats. 4th and 1 against the Pats. Jacobs converts. Same drive, Rodney Harrison on the blitz, stopped dead in his tracks by #27 and Eli hits Plaxico for the td. Giants all-time leading rushing td's. He made a lot of short yardage plays.
There was a period where the line broke down
idiotsavant : 12/16/2017 12:48 pm : link
And also it seemed that they were trying different blocking schemes.

And during that period Jacobs didn't do as well. But when we were hitting it he really set the O going.
