“Everybody says, ‘Well everybody else has to step up.’ No. Everybody else has to play championship football. Just like you would have had to do if Wentz was there.

“I felt like if the New York Giants played championship football with Jeff Hostetler, we would win.”

Eagles are good. I think it. Important for them to have 1 seed though

Would be tough to win on road.

But Foles is pretty good

If I had to bet I d say they don't win, but they will be tough

even with Wentz this year because they are going to realize that Doug Pederson is a shit head coach who will assuredly make a stupid move in the 2nd round game and cost the Eagles. And everyone will just blame Foles and assume when Wentz comes back, they will win next year. Except Pederson will screw up again and it won't be until 2019 that the Eagles realize they have a bad head coach who will blow it in January. They got Andy Reid Jr.

Every time a starting QB goes down and the team is headed to the playoffs the names of Bill Parcells and Jeff Hostetler are rung up. That was a different team and under different circumstances. There is a definite drop off between Wentz and Foles.. but that is something the Eagles have to figure out.....and if they overcome the loss of Wentz than good for them, and if they do not TOO DAD FOR THEM...but I do not think they will learn anything from the 1990 Giants. Every team knows that there is a possibility that their number one QB may get hurt and they will have to ride with their number 2 QB. No team gives up because they lost their number 1 QB. Whether you are successful or not depends on the competition that you are facing that year.

This is what happens to writers who cover the Giants when they are so lousy that they will finish last or next to the last in the entire league. It is painful for both the writers and the fans to realize that the only team worse than these current NY Giants is the forever winless Cleveland Browns. So they can only talk about the past. Thank you Jerry Reese for the shame brought on this franchise this year, and since 2011.
