for the last 50 years, the plan has always been to win today's game at all costs.

If that means that you can't evaluate newly acquired players in a real game and have to wait until next season to find out if they stink or not, so be it.

Hidden in this horrible year is the dramatic fall of Perkins

From game 1 starter and the future Giants RB, to 3rd string and inactive. The injury played a part, but this was on its way to happening long before that.

He lasted until the fifth round for a reason. He's not that good. We got excited because he looked faster than Jennings, which wasn't hard for most NFL RBs.

Playing your star young dback in a meaningless game at end of a lost season when he's listed as doubtful on injury report is flat out foolish. Sorry, it just is.

Darkwa has a shot at staying as a rotational RB. Vereen is done too. RB is a high need again for us.

every week it seems they are all inactive.

IK..snarky and bitter.
Just tired of 5 of 6 years of their losing, now OK if they don't win for the better draft position(and a good shot of losing THAT), and likely 3 seasons to become credible+.
And knowing key players in the FO let it become this...
fiddling and diddling while the team burned.

plays ST, and has run hard lately. What I question is Vereen over Perkins.

We aren't seeing Webb this year IMO.

Wheeler is concussed. It doesn't mean he won't have a future here. Ditto for the fact that Kerrigan and Mack really got the better of him.
